I have just seen on Allears that Animal Kingdom Lodge will be running tours from children aged 6 to 14 to learn about Africa and the animals etc and it says a character from the Lion King will be present.

I want to book this but it says you have to ring the WDW PLAY number - does anyone know the UK number for this?

Thanks

Sounds great :)

Congrats on your first post - Welcome to the DIS!

what a fantastic experience, the Disney experts have certainly proved that the whole AK thing will be staying close to Walts conservationist attitude. I hope your kids enjoy it.

hi Mrs Potts

Can't see this & would love to read the deatails - can you give me better 'directions'???

Thanks:yay:

Mrs Doubtfire

If you google Allears.net (or in fact just add www in front of what I have just posted) it should come up - sorry I can't post a link

I spoke to 'Frankie' on this number and she didn't know what I was talking about! Any-one else had any luck? I can't find on Disney website either.

Shazzie

I booked this on the ADR number and Shane who I spoke to seemed to know about it! I think it only became available to non Animal Kingdom Lodge guests last Friday.

The Allears website has a bit of info on this!

We will be there at exactly the same time except we are staying at Pop Century - when have you booked it for?

We are thinking about booking this for our DD's, but I think that my oldest DD who is 13 will think that she is far too grown up for something like this! Has anyone got children who have already done this? If so, what did they think of it?

TIA :goodvibes

I would also be interested to hear from anyone who's children have been on this!

Shazzie

My niece is booked in for that day too (Chloe Aged 8!) guess I will see you there!

Been thinking about having dinner at Boma afterwards!

Just booked it for our 10 yr old for June

anyone have any reviews of it? I only saw one so far.
Is it educational?
Boring?

Pickles

Looks like you will be the first to do it - would love to hear your views on it when you return from your holiday!

:rotfl2: Mrs Potts you are just so crazy, are you sure you are not starting a bad rumour about AK and a bush camp for kids??

Missed this. It sounds great! So, the activity takes place in the AKL itself rather than the park?

I think jnr would love this, thanks for bringing it up :thumbsup2
