Child swap with extended queues?

Sure I’ll just leave my toddler at home from this family trip I have planned. 🙄

It’s also not gaming the system. What I was pointing out is that a couple of adults could easily do 3 big rides in the first hour of park opening. A couple with a toddler can’t because they have to take the time to ride each ride twice. So, you can only get half the amount of rides done in the same time.

People have left younger children at home before. Some families feel it's a waste of money to take the toddler, or too hard to take the toddler, etc. It's been talked about here on the boards for years.

You always have the option of going without children another time if it's so important to access attractions quickly. So what if a group without a toddler can access more attractions - it's about being there with your family, right? Watching that toddler enjoy the surroundings, interact with characters, play in the water play areas - families without toddlers don't get to do that. I can't wait to take my foster grandkids to WDW as soon as they are allowed to go. Watching the toddler and preschooler see the magic at WDW is going to be awesome. I'd gladly hang with them while the others go on the attractions with height restrictions. We'd have a blast (and I'd spoil them in the stores!) and I certainly don't think we should get extra RS passes just so we can do the same amount of attractions as a couple of adults.

Love getting mom shamed for wanting to ride a few adult rides.

This thread took a strange turn. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad! Not everyone has the ability to go with people that will watch a child or will easily skip rides etc. Disney offers Rider Swap so many different kinds of family situations can enjoy Disney. I got where you were coming from and understood your points. I’ve had some of the same frustrations myself. Have a great trip!!

Thank you for the support. I didn’t want it to keep going, so I just hit the ignore button. We had a wonderful trip in October and will again.
