Tricia - that is so nice to be missed by people! And from my home state too. And I agree with you on the appreciation thing - my SIL has received 4 cars from my IL's and not appreciated one of them. Myself, I'd quit giving her cars.

Re the Disney trip, the babysitter is coming with me. Originally it was just going to be me and Kailey - with Madeleine staying with DH at home, but I knew we'd get down to the wire and DH would bail on me for "emergency" work reasons. So I made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

We're staying at the Downtown Disney Hilton. So illustrious.

arkmom - I agree - hints are fairly vital in our household. Otherwise, one gets pretty much nothing. Your son is going to feel so cool, driving that minivan. Perhaps you can have "soccer mom" emblazoned on the side, to add to the appeal.

Actually, I was thinking of a Mickey head antenna ball. Except I don't have an antenna. So maybe some Mickey window clings. Or tinkerbell. You don't think that would affect his cool quotient do you? I love the soccer mom idea, but I've not been a soccer mom in 3 or 4 years. But maybe that wouldn't matter. Maybe that would add to the effect.

It was a good weekend, my dad seemed happy with his day. It looks to be another "normal" week. I don't think much of anything is going on. Of course now that I've said that, something will come up.

Leaving tomorrow although little one has an ear infection (of course! They sense when we are going to fly every single stinkin' time).

6 days at the Hilton - going to Cirque du Soleil - first time for 7 year old, and then eating a lot, indoors.

Susan, that is so stinking funny.

Arkmom - even better, my MIL never turned hers on.. one day I went to an infected site to listen to *windchimes*. Wow, who ever thought "windchimes" would mean "download 3400 naked people immediately"?? Have you seen the YouTube pimp my mom's ride? Even better than the soccer mom thing - we went to a musical called menopause and met up in a store parking lot and they had a giant sign on the side of the van. Yes, saying "menopause". He'll be saving up for his own car prompto!!

My arm is pretty good. I still have aches on occasion and the cast is a nusiance but I can't complain too much. I should only have the cast for one more week!

Sorry about the car! I hate that. Sometimes I do enjoy being stranded at home though!
