Good Morning Chicks.

Yesterday I took Colin to the Dr. He has an ear infection. At least he has something that's not contagious unlike Kendall's pink eye last week. I'm glad to report that the eye gook has left the building.

I'm thinking of taking the kids to see that Panda movie today. Any of you seen it yet?

No. I don't think I've seen a movie-theater-movie since last year. Actually, I have 3 Netflix movies that I've had for about 6 weeks that I haven't gotten around to watching! Pathetic.

Tricia, I hope you clear up all those infections (Oh, wouldn't that make a great tag!!! )

Good morning.

I hope Colin feels better soon! I'd like to see the panda movie but I doubt I'll make it to the theater. This weekend is all about dad and I doubt he'll choose that movie to see. I broke my arm on Mother's day so I'm hoping that Father's day goes better!

I've had a movie since April. How long do you think they'll let me keep it?

I always wonder that about Netflix - but they promise you can keep it forever, as it's just a slot in your account. I have the Johnny Depp one - the Sweeney thing - have had it since it came out on DVD. I can't watch it when the kids are around.. and clearly when they're not, I'm on the computer. Dilemma!

Tricia - Pink Eye has been going around this part of Texas for the last few weeks. Madeleine keeps almost getting rid of it but then not quite. And that might have something to do with me not being mean enough to get the eye drops in properly. Sorry about the ear infection - DH had one so bad last week that it infected his ear drum. Everyone loves the Panda movie! Kailey saw it twice last week. Even MIL loved it.

I went to see Ironman for my anniversary. That was a mistake.

Happy Friday!

Colin started getting all itchy yesterday afternoon. Guess who is also allergic to penicillin like me? Yep, Colin. I called the Doctor and he called in a new prescription and started him on benadryl for the itch. He's still sleeping so hopefully today will be a much better day for him.

I'm all done on the Father's Day Gifts and cards. Now I just need to do the food thing.

Susan stay safe this weekend. You don't need any broken legs to match that beautiful blue cast on your arm.

We went to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday. Cute story!

We're leaving on Wednesday for WDW. I never hired a cat sitter (DH will be around, but gets all bent out of shape if I ask him to feed "my" cats - love that man, but he doesn't seem to love the cats. ) so better get on that.

I'm sorry about Colin's reaction! I hope he's on the mend.

I've got to go get a card for my dad and find something else for him. So far I've bought him some book about a guy who climbs mountains, Poker for Dummies (he watches on TV but doesn't understand it) and a Tony Bennett CD. I feel like I need to get something else.

Kendall's cheer practice was cancelled today so I have my afternoon free. I'm sitting here trying to explain to Kelsie why she doesn't have her own car yet. Oh the joy of teenagers!!!!!!!

I've taken care of the fathers in my life.
For my Dad, I reserved two rounds of golf for him at WDW.

For DH, Will and I bought him a pair of Ray Bans that he's been hinting about. Hints are good.

So Tricia, when will your kids get cars? When they can buy them? That's what I told Will. Of course, everytime I say that he reminds me that he has enough in savings to buy one. Of course A)he doesn't have enough to buy one and B)that's college money! So he'll be driving the minivan!

Actually we do plan on buying her a little used something or other but just not the week after she gets her license. Unfortunately for us the area that we live in hands things over to their kids without a second thought. I want her to be at least 17 (and a little more responsible, and much more appreciative) before then which will be in December.

We're off to the ball park for an 8:15 game today. I'll be heading out in just a few minutes. Do you think all the players will even be awake yet? Our lovely humidity is already at 80% so I'll definitely be sweating my pootie off this morning. Maybe I'll shed a few ounces. Hey, I'll take it however I can.
