Joanne I see you have a new weight loss WISH. I'm still stuck at 26 pounds. I can't seem to get the scale moving again. Congrats to you.

Lori all packed yet?

I'm about 95% packed. Now I'm working feverishly to do some last minute things: iron a bunch of stuff for DH (to alleve the guilt of leaving him home again), finish all the laundry in the house that I can find, print my confirmations, track my ups box (I shipped some stuff down to wdw), email a few people, tease my sister via email because I leave a day earlier than her, what else?

Oh! Y'all will be relieved to know that I successfully introduced the "new" camera last night. I had it sitting on my desk (in its original packaging) and quickly pointed it out to DH as I breezed through the room (careful not to slow down long enough to answer too many questions) and said "oh yeah, look what I got." He made a few comments about how cool it looked. I said I've not had a chance to learn how to use all the neat features; I'd show him what little I do know about it now, but the batteries are charging at the moment; and will show him how to use it when I get back from vacay (all true). End of convo.

Thank you - I really appreciate you saying that. I really didn't expect that a move would take over my life for so long, but then I had really never moved with children before, especially from a house to a house (vs. an apt.)

And who would have ever have guessed that while I was absent, some of our friends would have behaved so badly as to not be allowed to send PM's?

Lori - congratulations on the smooth introduction of the new camera. I don't really plan to be slick, as I figure if he doesn't notice in the next 6 months, well then the spending moritorium is over, right? So all I have to do is not go anywhere with him for 6 months. At least nowhere that I would want to take a photo. I guess that's what you pretty much did.

Morning. I'm doing all right. I breezed through the surgery, and was feeling good, just tired last night. It wasn't until I was getting ready for bed that I noticed I had hives in various places. This morning they are better but I'm really swollen and sore. Oh well, I'll get better.

Hope you all have a glorious day. I ended up buying 2 large packages of fireworks, all of which I just realized are probably banned by our HOA.

I totally forgot that roman candles shoot off so many times. I think we hit the roof last night.

I hope everyone had a nice 4th.

We're going away today so I spent yesterday packing which I hat to do.
At least we're driving so I'm taking half the house with us.

I'm going to miss my treadmill!

I hope you all had a great 4th. We went to our local fireworks display last night at the lakefront. I think they could take a lesson or two from Disney on how to put on a great show. It was rather dinky. We got home in time to see the fireworks on TV from Boston. Now that was truly a spectacular show.
