Chicago DVC Reception

I just got back from the 10:00 am session. I did not win the week vacation. We got some blinking pins. They had pastries and bagels and coffee. No OJ or hot chocolate for the kids. Pop was 5.00/glass. The Wilderness Lodge camping and the Contemporary concierge level have been added to the disney collection I think. We will be able to track points on DVC member website now. You can bank points online. And some more additions to the other collections.

Hmmm, I'm glad we didn't make the trek downtown.

Good news about tracking points and banking online. If you add that to your title, the crowds will go wild!

We went to the 10 am reception and had a great time. Didn't go for the food and never even went by that table. It was set up a little different than I expected but still really enjoyed it. Lots of prizes to be won. What made it best for me was getting a chance to talk to some of the DVC folks. Always nice to be able to give feedback to the people who do all the Marketing. We also got to see our guide Julie which was great. Last, but by no means least, we got to hang with some DIS friends for the two hours.

A lot more than that. The event was hosted by a Radio Disney DJ, they gave away a lot of smaller prizes. Had some contests for both the kids and adults, and an appearance by Holiday Chip and Dale and Holiday Mickey and Minnie in WDW Christmas parade gear. They had some nice backdrops on the stage for everyone to take pictures with. I'll post some pictures later on.
