Saturday. My DD has a home swim meet on Friday and it's Senior Night. I can't skip it.

Friday would be the one to miss if you have to, Saturday will be a blast...weather looking good so far and vibe is going to be CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe posted that his daughter sent him the video you posted ~great find!

Well, last game of the regular season today. Last day of being in First Place of the season. Typing "regular" seems pretty incorrect since this season has been anything BUT for us Cub's fan's..(and the Cubs team, lol) It's not often that you get to witness a team formed like this. It is like a new high school ans thee young guys are the upper class men from the start. That said~I feel like Joe today

Just popping on to wish your Cubbies the best of luck. Sadly my Royals didn't make it to the postseason and have the opportunity to defend the crown, but I'd be very happy for the Cubs to be our successor!

Cubbies were 2-5 vs the Mets including going 0-4 at New York.
Finished 4-3 vs the Giants.

This means very little considering the Cubs swept the Mets during the regular season last year. SF in the post season scares me. I think I would prefer New York. Who am I kidding? Both teams scare me. Haha!

weather has me saying Giants, time zone change has me saying Mutts..momentum has me saying Mutts(but man, I am NOT a fan of us playing in that ballpark)...and also pitching. As far as the Giants, Pence is a player to be reckoned with. Cueto, I know we will see him 2x's if they win the WC which doesn't bother me much but that team seems to really get going when he is on the mound. I know the Giant's tanked after the break but I think their sweep of the Dodgers lit them up. The Met's have been winning on a wing and a prayer, the kind of stuff that usually doesn't sustain . I wish we were playing them both and on and on and on as I don't want the season to end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, after thinking about it today...I know Jake does incredibly well in CA (no hitter, anyone?) and if it's the Giants ,he would be pitching in CA game #3 so that's a good stat to have!

He said he still needs to touch up a few spots but I think that it turned out pretty well.
