What a horribly slow day today!!!!!!!!!!!


Yesterday was slow too, but at least I had one customer


I did take advantage of the slowness though and do something I've been wanting to do for 2 years now - print out my vacation photos. I haven't done this yet for my 2005 and 2006 WDW trips, and I finally did it I picked up 2005 yesterday and put it in the WDW 2005 photo album last night, and then today I will pick up 2006 on the way home and put those in the WDW 2006 photo album It feels so good to have this done!!!


We are getting a new addition to our family today - a saltwater aquarium Kevin has been wanting one for a long time now, and he finally got it. The store he bought it from is coming tonight and installing everything, including the fish. It will be quite cool when it's done, and we'll even have our own

.



Mac - I"m glad the boys are doing better

Bunchkin - When you redo Lauren's room, is it going to have a theme? We are redoing Stephanie's room next year, and I'm not sure what we are going to do yet

Disneynut - How's the new puppy doing?

Donna - That weekend is booked for me, but it would be lots of fun!!!



Well, I guess I should go do something - I don't know what but I need to find it, and do it

Hi, again...sorry to be unclear....the email I got said that the party is on August 4th (Saturday) from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. in the Comcast Connections Court in Woodfield Mall...

A "fun-filled day of activities, excitement and your chance to enter "Disney's Doorway to Dreams Grand Opening Sweepstakes"....

Anyone else available? Maybe a lunch meet at the mall or someplace nearby?

Donna, my family and I may go! Just let us know where exactly(what restaurant) and what time!

slo Lauren is REALLY into all things Pottery Barn Teen!!! I've been getting the catalogs for some time now and she is obsessed!
Lauren's room is pastels now, if you don't recall. She is totally not into those colors anymore. She leans more towards oranges, greens and blues now.
There are several themes we are considering including a surfing motif.
We'll see what happens though.

Congrats to Kevin on getting an aquarium!! That is sooo cool!!

RUMOR: Tricia (Dopeygirl) is coming into 'town' 8/10-8/11. Anyone interested, please let me know. Not sure what HER plans are, but she mentioned being 'here'.

We were at Kiddieland Wednesday for 10 hours, and we're going to Six Flags Great America on Friday, so I'm tired before I head to bed for THAT!

hey bunchkin..........well, i am not a HP fan but i do go to the darkside after the motherland trips.


i'll end up in the potter land when it opens and hope the rides are super.
i'll even be doing the simpsons when it comes out down there in the spring

mac I think we are planning to take our first trip to "the dark side" once HP area is open. Late 2009 is the date I think they said it would be open.

Hi Everyone,

I will be out of town for the DVC opening or I would be totally going. Bummer!

Bunchkin…I have actually had my eye on a piece of furniture in the PB teen catalog. I have been searching the boards trying to find a way to save some money to get it. All I have come up with so far is going through UPromise for 3% back and using the PB credit card for a 5% rebate. The only bad thing is it’s on backorder already. Oh well.

I'm not working today!!!!

I'm leaving my employee all day by herself, because we are going to Pierogi Fest (this is something we go to every year). We have a nice cooler day for it - I'm so excited!!!!


Mac - I should have the girls name the fish, that would be cute!!!
I'm sure they'll call the clown fish NEMO

Bunchkin - I found out last night there's already one in there, and a couple more are coming next week. The one that's in there now is the type that cleans things like in Finding Nemo. I also found out last night that the fish are eating better than me - they get shrimp

Debbie - Very nice pictures!!! Thank you for posting them!!!

Rose - We are enjoying the aquarium, because you never know what you are going to find. It has living rock, and nobody knows what could be in there. Yesterday we found 2 baby star fish on the glass - they are so so small and it will be fun now to watch them grow

Slo I saw an Pierogi Fest on the food network. It looks like a lot of fun eat one for me.

I hope the sun comes out I really don't want to stay inside and clean all day. Though I need to. I just finished cleaning the upstair carpet. I've decided I really hate that carpet.

Having a great time. Did go to Legoland, DL and DCA this week. Today, my friend and I are shopping at DTD while the DHs stay here with the kids. Yesterday they rented Harley Davidsons and rode up to Big Bear (in the mountains). Kellie is sick. Strep throat again. Luckily, I had a refill on her last med and just called Walgreens and filled the prescription and had her start taking the antibiotic right away. And DSIL called 2 days ago and said the ENT MD fell and broke his leg, so their surgeries will have to be postponed!! (They probably would have had to postpone Kellie's since she is sick, anyway.
Well, better crash. Hope all is going well. Our vacation is coming to an end. I did get some great pix with my new camera and will post with a TR when I am home.

I had a great day yesterday doing nothing but float in the pool - it was great
We then got Papa John's for dinner because we had a coupon, and it was not good . I told Kevin that I don't know if it got worse, or if my taste got better (we hadn't had this for a very long time).

I'm still around reading, just not posting much.

This is our last week of summer school & I can NOT wait. I need a day to just sleep in...forget the kids. Of course, it didn't help that I got sucked into watching Forrest Gump last night & didn't get to bed until a little after 1 AM. I already saw it before so it wasn't as if I *had* to sit & watch it but couldn't get myself to turn it off either.

This past weekend DD took a sewing class at our JoAnn's but really she said I taught her just as much as the class did, so she didn't learn anything. I'm a novice when it comes to sewing, so I figured she might learn the "correct" way to do stuff rather than my way. I guess I did know what I was doing. She did have fun though.

I've actually went and bought school supplies *gasp* -- the boys still need stuff but DD is basically set. It was funny though because when we were shopping this other mom made a comment to me regarding supplies -- so I made one back just basic polite chit-chat & then she mentioned our school as if she knew me & I had NO IDEA who she was. She has a son in DD's grade along with a younger son who still goes to our elementary school (but in a different grade than my boys). How embarrasing -- I had to ask her who she was.

That's about the only update for me. I have to get DS-10 ready for school and then DD needs to get up for gymnastics this morning.

Nothing too exciting...OH...my brother is in Disney World now though or should be just about now. It will be interesting to see his report when I get back. My SIL & I have very different expectations on things, so I'm waiting for them to think I'm insane for wanting to go back as much as I do, since I'm not completely sure they are prepared. I hope they do end up having a blast though (especially their kids as this is their very first trip there).
