It's not an inside joke, it just that Slo never seems to get Tiggerrn2 screen name right. One time she'll type 3 G's, the next time, it's 2 N's and the next time it's 3 R's. Slo said she noticed she messed it up all the time, so now she does it on purpose just to make light of her mistakes.

We got a good laugh over that. I love that Slo doesn't take herself too seriously! She's a good egg!!

Similar to how you just spelled Geffric above!

Bunchkin and SamIAm -

I hope each of you have a wonderful trip!! Think of us as you're taking in all the sun down south! ;)

Have a very Happy Easter, everyone!!! :grouphug:

Have a wonderful time Bunchkin and SamIAm .. Have a Dole Whip for me!! Enjoy the warm weather..

Can't wait to hear all about your trip when you return.

Bunchkin SamIAm Have a great relaxing trip. Hopefully you left a forwarding order with the Easter Bunny. ;)

Funny stuff!
Thanks for filling me in!

Hi all-
Was busy getting some things done today. Getting stuff out in the regular mail. Sending emails out, etc.

Mac and Geffric- Unfortunately we didn't go to the blue restaurant last night.
We ordered in deep dish pizza from Nancy's. The pizza was good! Maybe sometime this weekend or next weekend we'll try for the blue place.

Geffric- how's your back feeling?

Bunchkin and SamIAm- have a great and safe vacation!

Tiggerrn2-Happy birthday to your DD! Is today her birthday?
:bday: :cake: party:
Hope all went well getting the birthday treats for her classmates.

Unfortunately the peanut natzis(my kids' teachers) wouldn't let my kids pass out their treats for their classmates I bought yest. :sad2:
There is a peanut ban at our school for this school yr. Tho I bought Milky Way mini snack chocolate bars, which DO NOT have peanuts in them. But because the bags they came in and the individual wrappers say may contain peanuts, they were banned! My kids came home with the bags unopened. And I was like, "what happened?" DD and DS were a little uspet and said the teachers wouldn't let them pass them out b/c the packages say "may contain peanuts". I know my kids have came home with Milky Way and Snickers(has peanuts) and other snack chocolate bars from school from their school Halloween parties and Valentine's Day, so not sure why they couldn't pass out their Milky Ways? :confused3  I guess their teachers didn't want a lawsuit on their hands I suppose?
Sorry for the rambling...

Hi to everyone!

The kids are off of school tomorrow. DH is taking a vacation day tomorrow.
We have to take the kids for their 10 yr well physical exam tomorrow morning at the pediatrician.

Have a good evening everyone.

Hi Rose.. do you know of a good PT place nearby? I am going for PT on the neck.. thanks

sorry about the Milky ways..

:rotfl: Good late evening (or early morning). Here I sit waiting for laundry and hiding eggs for the party today at 11. Rose, DD birthday is the 5th (so now technically yesterday). Her party with her friends is today. I thought it would be easier and less expensive to have it here. NOT!!! By the time I bought food, plates, napkins, tablecloth, treat sacks and stuff to put in them, games, craft for 10, I think it would have been just as easy to go to a skate rink or bowling!!! Probable not much more and less headache!!!
I found cute eggs to hide. Each has a piece of candy and a charade clue. So after they find the eggs, they can play charades.
I have a craft for them to do and then they can decorate their cupcakes (which I still have to make in the morning.) Not sure how much time we will have leftover, but we could do musical chairs or something for a bit. Hot potato? I'm sure I will think of something.
You all weren't too talkative today. Was hoping for some time to kill here reading.
Debbie, glad SamIAm explained the little joke. Now you all can watch out for Slo.:lmao:
Well, I better get to hiding these eggs. Not sure where I can put 30 of them and be sneaky enough about it. I want to take up lots of time.:rotfl:
Later.
Morning Sandy.
Any other night owls out there.
Where has Nightowl been now that I mention it?

Proud Mom moment here. Alex had his first almost all A report card. All accept one class.:sad2: I'm so proud of him I could pop.

I hope that Bunchkin and Sam are soon warming in the sun.

I'm going to be glad when our fun fair is behind us. Sounds like we should make a good profit for the school :cool1: We have some great raffles.
One of us on the committee was able to score a Wii, I know where all of someones tickets are going.:rolleyes1

I had one of those nights when your are too tired to sleep :confused3 I was up and down and all around last night. I hope I can stay awake today.

I'll try to check in later. Tonight I have to get the fun fair tickets packaged, they have to go out next week. :woohoo:

Today feels more like a Saturday than a Friday.
I think it's because Kevin is home and so is Stephanie.
We have a busy day planned with errands and church (it seems like all I talk about is having errands lately:rolleyes: )
Than later I have to make some hard boiled eggs so the girls can decorate them tomorrow -they are very anxious to do that!!! :)

geffric - I hope you don't freeze to much this weekend. Good luck to Geoff with his Eagle Scout project :wizard: Please let us know how it goes for him.

mvazul - Have fun with your family this weekend :)

Mac and Jedi - :wave2:

Bunchkin - Bye!!! :wave2: You are on your way to the airport at this time (maybe you are already there). I'm glad you get to leave this cold weather and get to have some warm weather for awhile - Have fun!!!!! :goodvibes

Debbie - Thanks for telling me about David Copperfield and for the code offer:) . I can't go this year - we have to much currently going on that I don't have extra time or the extra money - maybe next time!!!!

You always explain things so well. You have a great way with words!!!! :)

Awwww.......thanks!!!!!:goodvibes
What a nice things to say :goodvibes

Sam - Have a good trip, we'll miss you!!!! I think that would be hysterical to call Nicole from WDW when she's in DL. You both would be in 2 worlds at once:) I'm glad you get to leave this cold weather too, and can go to somewhere warm :sunny: Have fun, stay safe, and tell us all about it when you get home!!!

Rose - That candy thing happened to me once at the daycare ::yes::. I guess if something is made in the same factory as something with peanuts, they can't give them out if there's a peanut allergy in the classroom. So now I only get non-chocolate candy and I've never had a problem again.

HERSEY - Yeah Alex!!!! :cheer2: Please tell him "good job!!" from me :) I would beaming too - what a good boy you have there!!!!:goodvibes
**I hate it when I'm to tired to sleep - that's the worst!!!! I hope you aren't to tired today because of it.

Well, I gotta go get ready for my day
The first errand is the grocery store - so I guess I should make a list:rolleyes:

Have a good day today everyone!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2 Now you know why I don't mind having my kids parties "out of the house" -- In the long run, it's not any cheaper for me to do it at home. I love to decorate & tend to find all these "oh...that's so cute & will fit the theme perfectly" items that I spend just as much if not MORE than just writing out a check for a venue & letting them do most the work. I even did it with DD who I said is not getting any more parties & just was having a couple friends over to see the concert -- I ended up making invitations, getting a tablecloth, decorations, etc... I couldn't help it. ;)

Have fun with it though. I'm sure your DD will have a blast!!

Good morning! Happy Easter weekend to all!

SLO...I miss the days when we used to do egg coloring with the kids....I know you will cherish those special moments with your girls!

BUNCHKIN&SAMIAM...I am so jealous of both of you...hope you have some wonderful experiences on your trips to opposite ends of the country, and can share some of those special memories with all of us when you guys get back!

HERSEY...Congratulations to Alex!!! Way to go!!!

ROSE...happy belated birthday to your kids...

TIGGERN...happy birthday to your daughter...hope the party goes well!

DEBBIE...could you PM me the code for David Copperfield? I am not certain we will go, we have seen him live a few times, and he's usually amazing. Thanks in advance.

GEFFRIC...I am sorry to hear of your medical problem:grouphug: ...but at least you have a diagnosis and can now begin the journey of treatment.

KIM...all the best for the surgery (did you say it was on Monday?) I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers.

Everybody...have a good day, great weekend, and Happy Easter!:)

Hi all- Happy Good Friday
Came back 2 hrs ago from the kids physical exams.
Everything is pretty well. The kids had to have a couple of booster vaccinations. Chrissy and Matthew were not happy at all:sad2: . I don't blame them. By the time we left the doctor, it was lunchtime, so we ate at SteakN Shake (close to Drs office). No blue restaurant by Dr. :guilty:

Hersey-Congrats to Alex!!! :cool1:  :dance3:

Geffric- Re: PT referral. Fortunately I have never had to use PT for myself or for DH. Unfortunately, I don't know of any adult PT places around me :guilty: I'm sure there are some, I just don't know much about them. There is an MRI place about a mile from me, but I don't know if there is PT there. There is a big place off of Higgins Rd. in Hoffman Estates called Barrington Orthopedic Center. I don't know much about it, but I'm guessing PT is there. It's on Higgins, west of Golf Rd, west of Roselle Rd. Close to Hoffman Estates High School. I also know of a chiropractor that goes to my church, him and his wife live in Schaumburg, as we see them at our neighborhood gatherings once in awhile. Unfortunately, I don't even know where he works at, as he never handed out his business cards. I can try to give his wife a call next week and find out where he works at if he knows a good PT in Schaumburg. I'm guessing he works with physical therapists. Let me know if you would like me to call them about a PT.
Have a good Eagle Scout project trip, keep warm!

Slo- I should have bought hard candy bags, but Chrissy wanted to hand out chocolates to her classmates. Our principal sent out memos in the beginning of the school yr to NOT bring baked goods for treats. Only bring packaged items only for birthday treats. In the past yrs we were allowed to bring cupcakes, cookies, etc. for birthday treats, but not this yr. Then with also the peanut ban at school, it doesn't give a whole lot to choose from :sad2:
Oh well.... maybe I'll try to buy Jolly Rancher candies next week for my kids to pass out, if I remember to.....

Tiggerrn2- Hope your DD's birthday party is going well! Happy birthday to her again! :cool1: :yay:

Hi to Debbie, Donna, Mac, Becky, Jedi, and everyone else I missed !

Have a good day!

Another busy day today - and I got alot done.:thumbsup2
Now I have to get Ms. Katie ready for bed, and then Kevin and I are going to watch a movie. I'm not sure what Stephanie is going to do - she'll probably watch a movie on my bedroom tv under the covers :)

Becky - Wow, you sound like you're great at hosting parties. :teeth:

Donna - Coloring the eggs is always fun, but I have to admit, I don't like making the hard boiled eggs. I don't know why, I just do - weird I know

Rose - The candies I use now are Starburst, Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, Dum Dums, Skittles, and stuff like that. Jolly Ranchers are good too - they are one of Stephanie's and mine favorites :goodvibes

Well, I gotta go get Kate to bed
She didn't have a nap today, and she's getting crabby:eek:
Have a good night tonight everyone!!!

Hi Ya Pals!! OK who am I?? Of course you know...MICKEY!!!

I am feeling unmotivated still with tons to do this weekend.

I bought more Gymboree clothes last night! I love their clothes too much.

Computer is back but I just tried to use Preschool On-line (not cheap btw) and it is acting up again.

It is great to have sound though!!!

Investigating AAA to see if it is worth it to join just for the WDW discounts for us.

:headache: Can you even believe this flippin weather! They said it might be colder here on Easter then it actually was on Christmas!!!!!!:confused3

Rose...I am glad the twins had a good BDay (treats aside):)
Hersey...congrats on the grades!!!!!!!!!!!:teacher:

:headache: Can you even believe this flippin weather! They said it might be colder here on Easter then it actually was on Christmas!!!!!!:confused3

 :scared1: And I just finished DD's no sleeve dress! Luckily she's putting a sweater on top of it (besides the wrap she thinks I'm making! :lmao: That will be an "if I have time" deal -- but even if I do the fabric she picked will not keep her warm!). I'm not really happy with the way it turned out at the bottom but I've dealt with it enough so it's done & she's wearing it even if it looks a bit odd at the hem! :lmao: It's her fault for picking a knit material & then a non-stretchy liner. That's my story & I'm stickin' to it!

I still have to go out shopping tonight for the Easter bunny! I really don't have a clue what all I'm getting. My 13 year old has asked for make-up. That's what she wants in her basket. :lmao: I'm just trying to figure out in my head if I have an equal amount of things for the kids already.

PLUS -- I'm stuck -- I have a big plush "Sally" and I have no idea what to do about it. See, I got Mater & Luigi -- DD was hiding Mater & DD loves Mater. Her favorite is actual Guido but they didn't have any Guidos. She took Mater to "hide" him for DS-3 except she ended up sleeping with him & hiding him in the mornings, etc.. :rotfl: I just figured I would end up giving her Mater for Easter. I looked later & they had Lightening & Sally -- so I bought those. NOW...I have 4 kids & 4 stuffed CARS items shouldn't be too hard right? (Mater, Luigi, Sally & Lightening). IF DD didn't really like Mater, I could give her Sally. I'm just not really sure any of the boys are going to be thrilled with Sally. I'm thinking I could give her to the 3 year old but I know he will really want Lightening. My other thought is to give both Lightening & Sally to the 3 year old and then somehow come up with something else for 1 of the boys but it seems a bit unfair to give 3 out of the 4 kids stuffed CAR items.

Decisions, decisions...so I will be one of those people shopping tonight having a dazed expression trying to decide what I want to do & hope there are at least 4 (5 -- one for DH) chocolate bunnies left. I'm so good at procrastinating. I DID have an excuse this year, we were waiting to see if DD got her braces off so we could fill the basket with gum but alas no such luck.

The Easter bunny doesn't do huge things here so it will be fine, just already have a couple things for each kid. THEN ms. smart-aleck DD tells me last night "You know, the Easter Bunny comes whether you have been good or bad" -- GRRR!!! She's right, so I just told her that's why it's only SMALL things you get from the Easter Bunny. :lmao:

Hey all. I"m home:sad1:

What a awesome trip. I will be working on my trip report over the weekend. I also have some great pictures.

I bought a additional DVC while I was there at the new AKL. I can't wait to use it.

Bunchkin and SamIAm- have a great trip. I hope the weather is as great as it was for me.

Well I am already planning our next trip AUgust 12th - August 17th. Pirate and Princess party and a quick fix before school starts.

I will catch up on all i've missed over the pass few weeks. I hope all is well.
