Hi everyone...
Thanks for the well wishes.
It was a nasty virus I'll tell ya that much! I am sure you guys have all been there! My DH is home sick today and DGrandma is out of it too.
Oh…..and DGrandpa is on his way home from work with it now. I do feel bad that it spread to everyone. That's the bad thing for them about us all living together. On a positive, TMI, note, I lost 5lbs and feel like I got a free colonic! I know...GROSS!! Sorry.

Question…what are the abbreviations for Grandma and Grandpa for here?

I better go. For obvious reasons I am cleaning the house from top to bottom plus doing all the laundry .

I know I was waffling too, then I decided just to do it. I really want to experience the Food and Wine festival. I really like going in May but it's too soon, and I have too much work right now to even think about going anywhere.

Debbie, I think someone at St. Paul sells Tupperware. At least there's someone there at every craft show selling it. I would recommend the shape sorting toy. My family has had a FEW of those, over the years.

I was just looking at some web sites gathering info. in relation to our Disneyland trip and I came across one of our favorite restaurants that are only in CA & NV.

I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but I came across this and I now MUST have it!!

I got a phone call while I was in the middle of Meijers from the daycare - poor Katie has a fever So I left the store right away, went to the daycare, and brought her home.

When she gets a fever she cries and cries and cries - she always has. Then when the Motrin kicks in, she's a happy girl again. She is really complaining of a stomachache, so I'm hoping and praying that this isn't the beginning of something awful - like the stomach flu For now though, she is peacefully sleeping in her bed - poor thing!!!!


Bunchkin - That dessert sure looks yummy!!!!

Sam - I'm sorry you are feeling down in the dumps I'll send you some "cheer-you-up" PD right away!!!!

Seasonal Affective Disorder. I have it too and so does Tony.
What a group we are!! But I think Dan's case of SAD is rubbing off on you. You need to be rid of him at once!! J/K!!!

Megan's words. Soccer is okay, but there's too much running!

Well, okay then! If she changes her mind, I think I might sign her up for the fall league, which is better in New Lenox anyway. She said she might want to, but she goes back and forth. In the fall league you get more warm games than cold games and more kids are interested in the late summer/fall league because baseball and softball are over.

So, we'll see. She's a girl, she might change her mind 1,000 times by then!

So, I'm still sitting here

I was going to do some housework, but I wanted to keep an ear open for Katie incase she starts to get sick (if you know what I mean). I have a huge old metal mixing bowl right outside her door (it's the official sick bowl) in case I need it.

I feel kinda quilty sitting here, munching on gummi bears, and DISing when I could be doing something else - but oh well

Bunchkin - MMMmmmmmmm more chocolate!!!!
*No, the girls didn't get a flu shot Every year I say I should take them, and then every year I don't. I guess it's because Stephanie is so horrified of shots, that I hate to make her go through that. When she was Katie's age, she had all her ear problems, and she was such a very sick little girl. She got so many shots in a 4 month peroid, that she's never been the same since. Before all that, she was great with shots. She would hold still, and then cry just a little. Now she lashes out, screams, and it takes 3 adults to hold her down When she goes into the Pediatrician when she's sick, the first thing she asks after she says "hello" is "Do I have to get a shot?" Luckily, we've had the same Pediatrician since each girl was born, and she knows Stephanie's history, and is able to console her. I love our Pediatrician!!!!!
