Becky I hope you hear good news back from Shriners! How long of a wait will it be?

I don't know. I know it said once you are approved it could be 6-12 weeks before your first appointment. However, it doesn't tell you how long it is before you are approved. I'm thinking sometime January or so if we get approved.

That will be good, she will be done with cheerleading at school IF she makes the squad. They have an informational meeting tomorrow after school, she's really looking forward to it. Then try-outs are next week. :cheer2: I think she has a good chance due to her gymnastics experience and the fact that the school split in 1/2 this year with a new school opening, so less girls to even try out but I'm sure it will still be a big group to compete against. Goofy girl though last night she tells me you know the best part about a new school if she makes the team -- brand new uniforms!! :rotfl2: We shall see though as I never tried out so don't have a clue.

Here is a link to the pumpkin farm meet!! :thumbsup2

Bengston's pumpkin farm meet!!

bunchkin, redecorating???

i have never thought of that yet in my home.
when i get to that point, i will move to another house.

Actually, we are in a new house! :teeth: But we didn't want to spend the extreme amount of $$ the builder wanted to charge for the hardwood flooring. So we just went with the basic flooring they offered with the intentions of ripping it all out and replacing it. So that's where we are at now.

We are actually heading up your way to buy it.

Sorry that the pumpkin meet's too far of a drive for you. :(
You'll be missed! ::yes::

Hey everyone!!! :wave2:

I just got home from work and I am snacking on Honey Wheat Thins :goodvibes and DISing while waiting for Steph to come from school :teacher:

I normally don't work on Tuesday's anymore, but I went in today because we have so much to do. I'm really glad I did too, because we got alot done!!! :thumbsup2

Bunchkin - Thanks for posting about the Pumpkin Patch Meet :cool1: - we'll be there as long as everyone stays healthy :wizard: :) This place sounds really great and I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

So, what's everyone making for dinner tonight?

I bought a HUGE frozen Stopher's (sp?) lasagna at Sam's Club last week that I'm making tonight. It takes approx. 2 hours to cook. It's really tasty so it's worth the time :thumbsup2

Well, I gotta run, have a good night tonight!!!

everyone listed to slo's question of what is everyone making for dinner tonight?.....

mr mac out of town on a business trip.

i'll pick the best dinners being listed and come and do all your dishes and clean the kitchen for a bite of food...... :rolleyes1

Mac I'm still in the planning stages, but you're welcome to come over here. Maybe chicken with potatoes and a salad. Not very inspired I know, the only other thing that comes to mind is two noisey dogs and a 12 DS. :teeth:

Not very politically correct I know but "I vant to be alone" to many people bugging me today.

Ever since coming home from vacation all I've done is cook huge dinners from scratch! DH has been loving it.
But not tonight! It's hot dogs and mac-n-cheese night here!! :rotfl:
Nothing spectacular, oh well!!

Paula Deen I'm not!! :teeth:

Alex just informed me he would like chicken parmesan w/spagetti and salad. Not difficult just messy. Off to start cooking. :cool1:

Hello CHICAGOLAND!!! :cool1: :cool1: BEARS WIN!! :cool1:

Now speaking of the Superbowl Shuffle #2 - those '85 Bears are special, I remember giving birth to my first baby right after their first preseason game, and that DS was teething during the Super Bowl win!! :) We're both still Bears Fans!! And it has been hard more times than not - too many Packers fan around here!! :rotfl:

and today, DD celebrates #10!! Yep, today is *my* birthind day... *ahem, ok, all right, so it truly is DD 10th Birthday.... (and I still buy me roses on my kids birthdays- thanks to Sam's Club anyway - I do share!! :teeth: )

So for dinner tonight - Steak and French Fries!!! YUMMMM

Has anybody else read Diane Mott Davidson (not sure sp) she writes mysteries, her main character is a caterer from Denver CO - and so the book is filled with recipes... right now that caterer was making parmesean smashed potatoes ahead of time, then putting them into large muffin tins... I think that sounds wonderful... going to have to write some of those recipes down, she was making a beef tenderloin, and rolled it in herbs...

OK, I'm hungry!!!

eeyore45 I heard about those books, I haven't had time yet to get to the library to check them out. Which one are you reading?

ok, hershey and bunchkin and eeyore listed tonights menu.

scratch off hershey, she's tired of people tonight....
scratch off bunchkin, i can fix mac and cheese and had a hot dog for lunch.

eyeore has steak but she didn't do the invite or give me the address.

i'll flip a coin.
heads it is taco bell
tails it is pizza.

:teeth:

off to get the food...........

be back soon.

:moped:

Mac Sorry I scared you off the chicken was good, mess all clean now. I am sorry I sounded cranky, must have be hungry. I am making brownies now I think I need chocolate. That should calm the beast. :teeth: What did you decide?

I might make sloppy joes tomorrow. Off to change loads and put fresh sheets on my bed. Then I think I'm going to be a slug and lay in bed and watch a movie. :wave2:

YUM!!! BROWNIES!!!

If I just hadn't put the kids to bed and Tony wasn't working, I would be over in an hour for chocolate!!! I'd have made a stop for the ice cream!

Hey everyone-back from the Motherland. Had a great time. Plum Pooped!!! I think I have 10 loads of laundry to do, and I have to close out the book fair at the school this week. Glad you all weren't too chatty. Only 20 or so pages to catch up on. OK well, just wanted to say hi and I will be back later or tomorrow to catch up. Hope all are well. Any important hightlights anyone would like to quickly send my way? Have a great evening! ;)

Welcome back, Tiggerrn!! :yay:
Hope you and your family had a great time at the World! Did you get to have or see the YOAMD(Year of a Million Dreams)? Anyone get any extra magic or prizes you witnessed there?

Slo and everyone else- we had Hamburger Helper, the Italian shells one.

tiggrem, we will give you a 24 hour rest then you need to give the trip report

:teeth:

my boys in red just took game 5......

oh, about dinner, did the drive thru at taco bell.
it won the coin flip and it was the worse food tonight. had the fiesta taco salad. ate 5 bites and then into the trash can.
