hi chicago! how are things? busy busy for me here. DBF leaves in a week and a half for germany so I'm trying to prepare myself for 5 weeks alone with the cat..It would be ok if the cat wasn't such a pain.

Sorry to hear there is no game meet after the pumpkin patch. DBF leaves that afternoon so I will have to spend some time with him before he takes off! Maybe next time!

That's great your mom still likes to celebrate your birthday. Unfortunately my parents don't like celebrating anyone's birthday. Only the milestone ones (my 40th). If it's a regular age b-day, my parents only send a card and may call me, but that's usually it. We do celebrate my grandma's b-day. Bring a cake for her at the nursing home. My parent's are party poopers basically . Oh well, such is life.

Been busy today shopping at Walmart to get some things I needed. Also I got a couple of small birthday gifts for my grandma. Her b-day is coming up in a couple of weeks.

DonnaW- thanks for asking about Chrissy. she is doing fine. I am a little pissed at her Ped Card doctor tho. I've called twice at the office to get her MRI results. haven't heard a thing yet. I guess they don't have time to call me back?? I called over there yest.Talked to one of of hte nurses.did check that Dr. received the MRI and may call me soon. Well never got a call yest. I'll try to call tomorrow Hopefully no news is good news.


Ok, I gotta go and get hte kids off hte bus. and then they work on homework.

Thanks everyone for the continued birthday wishes!!!

Well, I've officially done nothing today, and I'm sorta feeling a little quilty. I did manage to take a shower and get ready for my mom's, but outside of that nothing. Oh....I did do something....I taught Katie how to play Hi-Ho Cherrio and she loved - she beat my twice!!!!

I just got done watching the Barbara Walters interview with Terri Irwin (my mom taped it for me while I was on vacation) and now I'm officially sad on my birthday. I feel so bad for her and her children, but she is an amazingly strong woman and I really applaud her for that.

Bacj from San FRan, got in this morning at 2:30 am.. YIKES. So I am on slow at work today..
But

Great News... I have been checking on line for Friday December 8th on property instead of at Best Western DTD for Friday and All Star Music for Sat and Sunday. Today.. I got All Star Sports for all 3 nights, changed the Movie reservation and cancelled DTD Best Western.... YEAH!!! Woo Hoo!!

I am not excited about being at Sports ( I only stay at Sports when I have the boys with me so they can fight over the football or soccer building) BUT.. i am now on property all 3 nights and won't have to move hotels on Saturday.. Whew!! Got the OK from my boss to take Friday off work, I booked my airfare and put ME on the reservation..First SOLO trip ever....I am really going to have fun at MouseFest, Karen's JellyRoll Meet and Beyond!!! I am so excited!!!

So nice that work is paying for me to play at WDW..

Anyone wanna meet ot go too?

Hello and Good Afternoon!

I am soooo totally filled up from lunch. Mom and I went to Panera for lunch and totally chowed down!! And then I took her to see the subdivision we would like to move to. She was floored by the size of the houses.
I was just telling SamIAm about these houses the other day, as she lives near by too. These houses are HUGE!!! It would take selling my house and my mom's house to get into one of these huge homes!!!
AND me going back to work!!! Not going to happen!!!

Then we picked up Hunter, who had class pictures today. I almost forgot too!! He originally had on a Harley-Davidson shirt!!!! So we changed into a nice button down shirt from Old Navy. And I threw some gel in his hair. He looked so cool!

slo We just played Hi-Ho Cherrio last night!!! Hunter loves this game AND usually wins too!!

I would love to see that Terry Irwin interview, if you could spare letting me borrow it from you. I forgot it was on! And I really wanted to see it! We loved Steve!!

Mindy I get to sit next to Mindy....YEAH!!!!!! The WICKEDest meet planner!!!

rosemarie Not too sure why Michelle hasn't been around. We all miss her though! I did see on her trip report thread that she mentioned her uncle recently being killed. He was a police officer, off duty at the time. Not sure of the details, as she didn't share them in the post.

Terri Irwin interview. I did watch it when it was on a few weeks ago. It was definitely sad, but her and Bindi have a lot of hope for their future at the zoo.
Sounds like Bindi and Terri are going to continue on in Steve's legacy.
