I honestly can't say I remember seeing a little one in just a diaper, but it was sort of unusually warm that evening. Sort of muggy and humid, so I doubt I would have thought it odd to see a little one in just a diaper!

Disneymama, I hope your self-esteem and spirit are strong enough to withstand such verbal attacks! You seem like a sweet lady and I really hope that you know that. Your husband does need help, but don't forget yourself in all of this! I hope you have some great friends to talk to because I'm really worried about you. My DH was crabby and maybe unenthused about DisneyWorld, but you gotta whole 'nother thing goin on there!!

If you ever need to "vent", I got some good ears! :listen:

Thank you so much. I have talked to an attorney about divorce. It's so hard with the kids, switching schools, etc. But it's only a matter of time. I can't take much more of him. :sad2:

Hi Everyone....
DisneyMama73..I am sorry for everything you're going through! Please talk to us whenever. It does help to vent, even if you want to PM us. Feel free to PM anytime. We only get one life to live and everyone deserves a happy one!
Hang in there!
Macraven...I hope your parents are doing OK. You too! Hang in there!

On a much lighter note....
I am just trying to take care of all the day to day stuff. My shoulder is still killing me but I don't see how that can change without going to a spa for a couple weeks! My kids are still young and heavy!

DH is OK but now I think he has a cold.....or he is faking it for some more attention! :rotfl2:

Leigh...YEAH..you finally got the costume!!! PS I got the "666" reference. You're funny!

Nicole...hope your kid's show turned out swell!
SamIam...did you end up shipping anything? Good luck with car shopping.

Slo...Your DH is funny picking out that little car! Is he a big guy by any chance because that would make the visualization even funnier.

All of you who returned from WDW.....
I am waiting for trip pix!!!!!!
Debbie

Hunter's Christmas program went so well!! All the kids were soooo cute!! :) Sometimes Hunter can get really shy in a group of people and act stand-offish. But he did so well and sang every song. During Jingle Bells they got to use little bells and he yelled "Look mom, little bells!! Aren't they nice? Listen!" and he rang the heck out of them. Everyone laughed it was so cute!! :goodvibes

disneymama Like others have said, we are here for you if you need to vent, chat, need support. ::yes::
I can't believe what you had to go through while at WDW. :sad2: I feel so sorry for you.

All for all the others out there who also have husbands who need to be hit upside the head with an enormous stick of salami......... :grouphug: :grouphug:

Bunchkin I hope you took pictures. Hunter sounded liked he had fun :woohoo:

Ok who left the door open? Boy is it cooold outside. I've letting the dogs out through the garage so the house stays nice and toasty.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: All around for everyone who needs it

Yesterday I took Kate to the Pediatrician for a colon X-Ray (she had an impacted colon in September for those that don't know) and the X-Ray showed that she was only 1/4 cleaned out  I was expecting her to be all emptied out. So, I guess she has to continue on her special diet and on her laxative :guilty:

She also has to go on a new allergy mediciane to help with her cold like symptoms. She has to take one mediciane by mouth and one spray in her nose. She also has the start of an ear infection, so we have to start putting drops in her ears - bummer!!!!!

geffric - We are lucky ::yes::. This body shop is great, and someone our family has used since Kevin was a baby
*Hugs to you too  I'm sorry you have a crabby husband :guilty:

disneymama - I'm so sorry that you and the kids weren't well on your trip, and your DH behaved the way he did :guilty: So many hugs to you!!!  Whenever you need to talk - you have a lot of friends here that are willing to listen :grouphug:

macraven - :wave2:

Leigh - Before you know it, your trip will be here!!!! :cool1:

Bunchkin - I'm so glad that Hunter's Christmas program went well. I bet you were feeling like this :goodvibes when he called out to you. When Stephanie had her first dance recital, at age 3, she was on a stage in front of an enormous amount of people. When the curtain pulled back to reveal the girls, Stephanie yells out "HI DADDY!!!!!! :wave2: " and people went "Awwwww" and Kevin felt like this :goodvibes It's a wonderful memory, as is Hunter calling to you. :)

Sam - :wave2:

Debbie - He is a big guy ::yes:: Did you ever see the movie Tommy Boy "Fat man in little coat!" I said to Kevin, "Big guy in little car!" and we both laughed and laughed :rotfl2: I told him that at the FD X-Mas party tomorrow it would be great entertainment to see how many Fireman can fit in a VW Bug :lmao:

Jedi - :wave2:

HERSEY - How are your dogs in this weather? The German Shepherd we used to have loved this weather - he would stay outside for hours.

Well, I guess I should get ready for work
Have a good day today everyone!!!!

:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:
OMG!
It is freezing!!!!!
My DD fell asleep in the car yesterday on the way to dinner at the mall and so she was up last night until almost midnight! Her Dad was working & the baby was sleeping. It was a bear trying to settle her down for a couple hours to go to bed. She had school today and I just didn't have the heart to wake her up with such a short amount of sleep and then thrust her out into the tundra! So we are playing hookey. I do feel guilty because she only goes to school two mornings a week but then again it's only preschool, right? I will make sure to educate her for couple hours today! :rotfl2:
Hi To all! :wave2:
Keep warm! :sunny:
Stay home if you can! :surfweb:
Bundle up good if you can't. :grouphug:
Macraven...I hope your parents are OK and safe from this cold. PD your way for that.

Hi Everyone! Very cold today huh! But, at least I gotta new car to tool around in for the next ten years. We got a good deal on it, but the thought of a car payment for the next five years is a bit much! Arrrghhh! I felt like a fish out of water in it though this morning. No favorite radio settings, the clock was off, and I couldn't figure out the heater. I think I may have been heating only the back end of the this thing. It's a Chrysler Pacifica and it's pretty darn nice, midnight blue, and so far, so good!

I gotta get used to it. It was snowing last night when I brought it home. That stunk!! I was so scared I was going to mash it up before 24 hours were even up!! :rotfl: Then I remembered I brought my old car home in the snow too. Megan and I both cried when we walked away from the old car. I brought my baby home in that car, took several family vacations in that car and it held a lot of memories. My Aurora was my dream car and last night I felt like I was walking away from an old friend. Talk about overly sentimental eh?? But, today is a new day!

Debbie, we were out til 10:30 last night, so believe me, I wanted to keep Megan home today too. She is seriously short of sleep and it's so cold!! Arrgh! But, it's 1st Grade and she was out all last week too, so I had to bite the bullet and get her up! No easy task! So, I don't blame you one bit for staying home today!! Oh by the way, I did have several things shipped from the front desk! They are due to arrive today and being that they were lighter weight things, it didn't cost me much at all!

Also, for all you Southwest airline lovers, they will print out your boarding passes 24 hours in advance of your flight at the front desk of your hotel. All you need to do is ask! Just have your confirm number and blammo A Boarding Passes!

:teeth:

Well stay warm everyone and take care!!!

Hello everyone.

DD had her back appointment yesterday at Shriner's and what the ??? is up with the traffic going 10 mph for 45 min/hour. That was nuts. :rotfl2: I kept waiting for it to clear out after we got through one area. I know it used to be backed up in pockets but would then clear up, I kept thinking there was construction blocking a lane or an accident, etc... NONE of that was the case.

Of course, they took tollbooths away and have completely messed with my head. We take 88 to the Airport 290/294 split and I'm going "WAIT...what happened to the tollbooths here?" :rotfl: My DH just told me that was the point of the open road tolling now but I so don't like it because that's how I knew where the turn off were, etc... for my different areas. :rotfl2: Now, I'm going to be all confused and I could see me missing an exit or something since I always knew it was after X tollbooth that an exit would be.

It does make it easier coming back home between I-88 and 83 is since that was always a mess to go through a tollbooth & if you needed to exit there was a pain (I never exited but it was messy). I was still have "change withdrawal" or whatever it's called when things change on you and you aren't prepared for it.

Anyway, we were supposed to be there by 9:00 but we got there at 9:25 (I only know that because they have a form that tells you what time you checked in) and we were there until 1 pm, so didn't get home until 3 pm. That's with stopping to eat because by 1 when we were done, we were all starving. I did notice they made our next appointment for 9:30 AM :rotfl2: We left at 7:30 AM, I thought that would have been enough time.

DD will be getting a Boston back brace to hopefully hold off on surgery. She is really in the very grey area for things. She already had her big fast growth spurt but both DD & I were confused since we don't remember it. She never went through several sizes of clothes in a short period of time or anything like that. She still has slow & steady growth to do. If we can keep the curve at where it's at until she is done growing all is well. She really, really, really, really doesn't want surgery so I think she will comply well with wearing the brace even though it's not going to be easy. She has to wear it 18-20 hours/day however, she CAN take it off to continue to do her gymnastics & cheerleading, etc... so YIPPEE for that.

She will be getting her brace on Dec. 26 and then working her way up to wearing it the 18-20 hours/day which should take about 2 weeks they said. She has to go back in Feb. to make sure it's doing what it's supposed to do and then every 4 months after that.

She is very happy that once she gets the brace that means more SHOPPING since none of her pants are going to fit. Geez, how horrible, we are going to have to go clothes shopping with her trying on all clothes & basically knowing mom is GOING to buy her whatever fits because I've heard it's hard to fit & once you find something that fits, BUY IT & buy a couple of them. :lmao:

I am the EXACT SAME WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya! You can only get away with it for a few short years, right!

Great news with the WDW shipping! It is very exciting when your package arrives!
BTW Your WDW Christmas CD sounds awesome! I always try and get all th WDW CDs but I don't have that one. You have to be careful buying CDs there because if you buy the regular theme park music they change the cover each year but it's the same CD! Well, at least that was the case the last 2 years. A Christmas one would be cool! I wished there was a halloween one but there's not.
