Hi, everyone! We were hit by the stomach virus that everyone's talking about and my husband made most of the trip completely miserable. Other than that it was GREAT. The kids and I loved HSM Pep Rally and Capt Jack's Pirate Tutorial.

debbie, i made myself invisible in my profile section as i was being harassed by a diser. this way if my light is red that means i am invisible and no one knows where i am even when i am posting unless they are on that thread.


i might go back to green light sometime.

parents have to be moved to another shelter on wednesday if power does not come back on. my mom has been put in a hospital bed yesterday at the shelter. her health is not good.

their house was burglarized and door broken down last night. police report made today. red cross worker will try to find someone to go to their home and help in that situation.

How awful! I hope they get their power back and can get everything fixed up again soon.

Get this...I bought the Minnie costume off of ebay! And it was less than $10 more than what Disney has it for, when you factor in shipping. It's supposedly never worn, so hopefully it will be in good condition. My boss was like, Now why are you getting this again?

You should see Kevin's rental car - he got a VW Bug (by his request). You should see that car with a blue light on it - to funny!!!! It's like a little clown car going to a call

I'm taking little Ms. Katie to the doctor this morning to get another X-Ray on her colon and to have her chest listened to - she is so congested She hasn't been well for a week and a half now, and she is so crabby because of it - poor thing

Sam - I"m so sorry to hear about your car What is it with us having these problems right before X-Mas - it stinks!!!!!

Jim - I"m glad you had a good weekend in Chicago. I really want to see that exhibit, but I don't know if we'll get there before it closes.

Bunchkin - Thanks for all that information - I'm going to show it to Kevin. It helps reassure that we are doing the right thing by not claiming it. Our deductible is $500 per car, so we would be paying $1000 to save $2400 or a little less.

Happy Wednesday all!

Tonight is Hunter's Christmas program at his preschool. They are singing a bunch of cute songs and then they are having a reception afterwards.
I can't wait to hear them all sing!!!


I'm so excited the count down has begun for our trip to WDW!!!!

I'll be catty here and hope he gets the flu bug really bad after all you get better! His good luck won't hold out forever.

Debbie6621: I really really hate giving up the car I have now. I positively love it and it's my dream car, but unfortunately cars don't last forever! My biggest fear is being stranded somewhere with Megan in a car that won't start. I tend not to venture too far from home in my car these days. As much as I love it, it's just not reliable anymore! I have an Olds Aurora and now I'm going to step up to a Pacifica. Hopefully, I can grow to love this car just as much!! I tend to get attached to "things" very easily! I will cry as I leave that one behind, I know I will. The only good thing is that CarMax is making this soo soo easy! They are really good to deal with, no high pressure, no wheelin and dealin! That's the best part. Just pick out something you like and can afford and buy it. Done, easy!

i need to catch the end of value season for a cheap on site room

i read that the values rate will increase next year ......$89/night, not sure which season but it would have to be value season.
also to add, i might have copied that number incorrectly. saw it on allears some days back

She threw up for over an hour and First Aid wanted me to put her on the boat back to WL. Luckily, the CM at the boat got someone to drive us back in a van. PHEW! She and I both reeked of puke.

I honestly can't say I remember seeing a little one in just a diaper, but it was sort of unusually warm that evening. Sort of muggy and humid, so I doubt I would have thought it odd to see a little one in just a diaper!

Disneymama, I hope your self-esteem and spirit are strong enough to withstand such verbal attacks! You seem like a sweet lady and I really hope that you know that. Your husband does need help, but don't forget yourself in all of this! I hope you have some great friends to talk to because I'm really worried about you. My DH was crabby and maybe unenthused about DisneyWorld, but you gotta whole 'nother thing goin on there!!

If you ever need to "vent", I got some good ears!

disneymama & samiam: i really need to pay attention here. I had no idea you were both at the nov.30 MVMCP. I WAS TOO! didn't notice the baby in only a diaper though.
Also......I do an annual solo trip at values end of Sept/beginning Oct too! hahaha. I like the "solo" part of the trip , but would love to meet anyone going then for a meal or a drink or a show. what fun.
