that's exacting to get a new car. i love blue for cars.

my car, toyota sienna van just turned 4 years old.
as of this morning, it has 94,000 miles on it.

I'll be putting over a thousand miles on it next week.
doing a round trip to the parents, then picking up one son from college.

I got my christmas present to myself today. I bought a printer yesterday and got free ground shipping and whalla it comes today Fedx. Now I just have to figure the dumb thing out it also has slots for the memory sticks from a digital camera of which I don't own.

Depending on when you go next Sept/Oct, Mac and friends, I could possibly be there. I'm tentatively planning to go for MNSSHP, and if we can coordinate it then a friend will be coming with. (Rather than joining me and my three other friends on my May trip. We were all just together at Skate America, and she decided that it would be more relaxing to go with just us. But she did like the sound of MNSSHP.)

So I'll definitely meet up with y'all if we're all there at the same time!

Thanks to all of you for your care and concern. DMom-in-law is home from the hospital. She will still need several more days to weeks of antibiotic therapy, but she's home. Dniece is getting a little better every day. She is talking now and getting stronger. She'll still need some rehab, but hopefully she will be home in time for Christmas. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. They are helping I'm sure. I'll go back to read all your recent notes later. Still have much to do tonight. Take care.

Sam - Congrats on your new car - it sounds really nice!!!!!! I was emotional when I had to leave my first car - a red Ford Probe. I paid it off, and the next day had to get rid of it I cried too, because I loved that car.

Becky - Sending lots of PD that your DD backbrace works I don't blame her for not wanting surgery - that would not be fun for any of you. Keep us posted on how she is doing once she gets the brace.

i like going at the end of september so we will get the best of everything.

we go in value season which is better. pay less for the same room than wait a few days and pay the increase for that same room

and be able to do a weekend of HHN over on the darkside.

but remember, we sleep little, and do comando style and eat on the run.

Good Friday Morning All!!!

Where is my house elf when I need him??? I had to do all the cleaning this morning!! Somebody spilled something on the kitchen floor and wouldn't admit it!! Of course I know it wasn't me!!
Vacummed, moped and dusted the entire downstairs. Still need to clean the powder room.
And this morning I found a flyer hanging on the front door from Merry Maids!!!! Should have called them!!

Today is a half day for Lauren. So I will pick her up before dropping Hunter off at preschool. And then her and I are going to lunch...her pick. She chose Panera, I should have guessed that. She always chooses Panera when it's just the two of us.


We are going to go to MARSHALL FIELDS ( ) on Sunday and take the kids to the Walnut Room and to see the tree, the windows, and Santa. They are so excited because we are taking the train and it will be their first time on the Metra.

Planning on going back in Jan 07 (golfing with my guy friends)...and then again in April 07 for a week with the kids! Best part...there's a Giordano's pizza 1 mile from our house there that delivers, yay! Just like being home! (We ALL know that there's no good pizza outside of our hometown...right? hehe)

We went to WDW 3 times last year. I've gone twice this year, and I'm going back next month. It's quite an addiction, isn't it?

And of course there's no good pizza outside Chicago.
