You might be referring to the Pop Warner events that have both football and cheerleading together. There's tons of chains here regarding that. I think this year I read that they stayed at the AllStars with overflow to POR & POFQ. Sometimes some of the other moderates are offered, too. You can always check the Pop Warner website & it will give you alot of information regarding the dates & where they'll be staying. Also check the chains here on the DisBoard it'll give you alot of info from this past December.

i tried but I think that since they revamped the boards and got rid of alot of threads that its gone because it tries to search for it but nothing ever comes up...I will check the pop warner website though..thanks

This year their dates are 12/7 to 12/13
The POP Warner group generally does not have much of an impact on the parks, except for the one night that they have their own event in the Hollywood Studios (formally MGM), and then the park closes earlier for other guests. This year it was on a Wednesday night, but in prior years it has been on a Friday.
I would stay away from the Allstar Sports and Music and POR and POFQ if you are planning on a stay during the POP Warner Event.

I have been at all star in the past and they were there. I looked on the website and I dont see anything for where they are staying. Im going 12/7-13th at POFQ. Maybe it needs to be later in the year for where they are staying to be published?

They have generally been given the option of the Allstar Sport and the Allstar Music for the value resort level, and the POR and the POFQ for the moderate resort level. It seems as though they are not as large of groups in the POR and POFQ as are at the values. They would impact the pool and the foodcourt since they all get together at the same time (or so it seems) it would also impact the buses when they are going to park in the evening.

As the year progresses the website will then have its sign up paperwork (for lack of a better word) and in that paperwork it tells them the options they have for the resorts and tickets etc.

We were there during Pop Werner week and did not see a lot of the kids in the parks until the end of the week. Mostly the cheerleaders - full of spunk and giggles.

In 2005, I did change from POP to CSR based on the board messages I got. It increased the cost of the trip about $400, but now my wife is hooked on the MOD resorts, which are really nice if you expect to spend down-time there.

We were there from 12/8-15 this year and they were at Port Orleans Riverside, they did not bother us, in fact, we hardly saw them, the most we noticed that there were cheerleaders there was that they had their windows decorated.
