Cheerleaders?

On every Disneyforum there are warnings to stay out of the valueresorts, when the cheerleaders are in WDW.
Here in Europe we do not know the phenomenom cheerleader.
What do they do that is so bad that you have to avoid them?

Cheerleaders, Pop Warner, Band groups, the list goes on...
Anytime you have a large group of young adults coming together you will get lot's of "activity". I don't think they are "bad" just young and full of energy! Add to that minimal adult supervision and you can get some noisy maybe a little disorderly conduct, nothing to be afraid of, just kids being kids. If this is not your cup of tea, avoid those times large groups are staying at the All Stars resorts.

Okay, that's just what I thought.
But with all the warnings and all it just seemed like there would be a group of hooligans vandalising the All Stars Resorts.

Just to clarify... the large groups will be placed at the All-Stars. Our newest value resort, Pop Century will not be getting the large groups. (Maybe some overflow, but now that more regular guests will be choosing Pop Century, I dont think the overflow is anything to worry about)
