Cheer Mom Help-what to take to Camp

DD 15 is going to sleep away cheer camp(first time-always had home camps before) other then the matching outfits and uniforms, what are some suggestions as to what she should take, I know sheets (XL twin) blanket pillows, fan( no AC and temp in hi 80's to 90) towels, and toiletries. But what are some other things that are nice to have. Also how much speninding money, Inoticed that t-shirts, shrots are like 20 and sweats like 29. TIA battery about out of juice

Sunscreen, water bottle & snacks. At camps our daughters attend, they also bring decorations for dorm room doors. There is a contest. They also need art type supplies to decorate the spirit stick. Very important stuff lol

My girls usually get together with their roommates before camp and make a sign on poster board with their names decorated on it so they can hang it on their dorm room door. A camera is a must. I love looking at pics from camp. They can't really take pics while they are cheering, but they take a lot at night when they are hanging out.
Plenty of ponytail holders and bobby pins. A ton of water. I gave about $100 per girl for shirts and food and things, and they usually only spent half. Cell phone chargers.
Oh and warn her that dorm rooms aren't very glamourous! lol (I'm assuming this is on a college campus).
My DD's first camp, they went to UNC-Chapel Hill and stayed in the same building that Michael Jordan lived in, so I guess she envisioned a hotel or something. So the next year, they ended up bringing streamers and balloons to liven things up. Find out if they are going to be able to go swimming so she can take a swim suit. I think one year at camp they weren't able to swim on campus, but the next year they were. Or vice versa. Hope she has fun!!

Flashlight, aspirin or something in case she gets a headache, ummmmm SHOWER SHOES lol. Tote for shower stuff to & from shower. A deck of cards, or somthing to do at night.

My DD just got home two weeks ago from th UCA Cheercamp in Panama City Beach. I also went but I stayed in another condo. The girls just took all of their cheer uniforms, shoes, hairbows, bobby pins, hairspray, hair straightner, socks, sports bras & all of that, snacks, drinks, shampoo & all of that, swim suit and items to sleep in. They also took a couple of outfits for just in case of something.

The UCA cheer camp store had:
T shirts for 18.00
Hoodies for 40.00
UCA shorts for 16.00
flip flops for 15.00
pants for 38.00
water bottles for 12 or 15
key chains for 9.00
bags & back packs ??
I can't remember what else.

Our girls lunches & dinners were included.
