Cheep Parking at Port Canaveral?

What are your parking hacks for Port Canaveral?

We will stay with family in Orlando the night before and drive to the port. Are there any cheeper places to park then at the Disney Port? Are they worth the effort?

both are close and reliable and cost less

shuttle ride is no more than 10 minutes but you need to look at 'port load' for your day

some days the port sees one ship and on this day the shuttles are fast

other days the port can see as many as SIX ships and then the shuttles can be long in between and the offices stressed.

you can find the port schedule on their web site (thru the end of the FY anyways)

I've used Parkcruise.com many times in the past and have no worries about doing so in the future

if a Vet or 'first responder' try lotsofhonor.com which is the same place but a yet lower price (limited availability)

Worth the effort....

As mentioned the number of ships in port can make a big difference on both arrival and departure days.

Also keep in mind that you are expected to tip the driver (luggage handling - couple dollars per bag) on both legs of the trip... so that will affect your savings over all. With some extra time you could drop off and pick up passengers and luggage... but I'd stick together.

On a Seven + Night (eight day parking) it can be a nice savings, but less than that I don't feel it's worth it.
