I wish I could be on vacation all year. Or at least 75%.

I just booked my hotel for Disneyland in November. It's my yearly visit. My parents want to go again so now we are trying to decide between two rooms (dad snores) at an off-site hotel or 1 room at the Grand Californian. I am actually hoping to stay at the Grand because it's so convenient and really beautiful. I've got it held and we'll go from there.

Is the Grand Californian just like the Grand Floridian?

I know!!! It really will be! I guess I should change my ticker. . . I really don't want to.

We were so busy and overwhelmed the first time there, we didn't even make it to DTD. I think when we go next year, that will be the first thing we do. Find some good place for dinner, walk around, and take it all in. Any good restaurants in DTD?

Wendy we always do DTD on the day we arrive. My kids love eating at Rain Forest Cafe.

Oh, um, I mean, it wasn't *that* hot. In fact, I think I wore a sweater almost the whole time. I didn't sweat or anything. I think that May is the best time to go to WDW. Humidity is great!

Good morning all! Well, yesterday when I said I was going to take a nap, i ended up sleeping for 13 HOURS . I woke up this morning, and thought it was still yesterday.

I'll be poppin in later. Have to go mow the yard, take a shower, take Jordan to the orthopedic doctor, take him for an MRI, come home, and sleep for another 13 hours.

Is the Grand Californian just like the Grand Floridian?

Actually it's more like the Wilderness Lodge. It's meant to look like a lodge in Yosemite, but it is right on the grounds of California Adventure, with it's own special entrance. The other entrance is right in Downtown Disney and it's a quick walk over to Disneyland.

Good morning all! Well, yesterday when I said I was going to take a nap, i ended up sleeping for 13 HOURS . I woke up this morning, and thought it was still yesterday.

Even when I can sleep in I never sleep more than eight hours. You go girl!

Yes, Wendy has very impressive sleeping skills. I used to be able to sleep that long, now the guilt alone wakes me up. Oh, and my bladder.

I am pricing a WDW package for a client. She's a bit of a loon. She wants to go on a cruise but she doesn't want to fly. Which around here means Mexico, Hawaii, or Alaska. She doesn't want to be gone more than 5 days so that leaves out Hawaii and Alaska. But she doesn't want to go to Mexico again. I suggest WDW which she was ok to fly to, but her other thought is the Mall of America. Now I have to get back to her with cruise prices (because she hasn't completely ruled out a cruise), WDW, and Minnesota. I love my job. Oh, and this is all for the end of June.

Evening all! Well, Jordan got the cast off of his wrist, and we went and had the MRI of his ankle done. Now we go back Friday for those results and to see whether or not he has to have his ankle casted. Poor kid. The only thing he looked forward to tonight was getting home and taking a bath by himself without any help from mom.
