Yeah! DMM is back! Tell us everything! I just watched the new show on WDW on the Travel Channel and I think I have convinced my folks that we NEED to go back. I told them we should think about November of 08 to which my dad replied. . . "I thought we were going to England". I of course said "There is an England at Disney World.
"
Other than that it's been a very strange day. Got up, went to church, went to see Shrek (which I enjoyed but it wasn't as good as the 2nd movie), then came home to make Strawberry Shortcake to take to work tomorrow. Spent a buttload of time cutting strawberrys and then went to start on the shortcakes. I have to say that I don't cook at my house very often. I cook almost every day but usually at my parents house. I use my oven as storage for cookie sheets, boiler trays etc. . . I took out the extra stuff, set the oven to pre-heat and eventually started smelling something odd. Upon opening the oven, I realized that something was on fire.
I didn't realize that I had put these plastic cutting sheets in with the cookie sheets and they must have slipped down when I removed everything else. They were now a puddle of melted plastic engulfed with flames. Fortunately I was able to put out the fire but was left with quite a mess. I think my oven is ok, but I'm going to worry everytime I use it from now on.
Hope you all had a fire free day.
