Since you have your hands full tonight, tomorrow, when you sit down with your coffee, head over to the "get to know you thread". I want all the chicks to go over there so I can find out more about you all!
I'll check it out tomorrow. Is it on the Community Board? Did you start it? Tell me about it.

Good Morning Chicks.

It looks like we will be warming into the low 70's today. Perfect! :thumbsup2

Hola!
Mid '50s here.

Have a good weekend?

Hi there GoofyDad. I had a super sized weekend of Christmas shopping. I did about five hours on Saturday and four on Sunday. I'm all done except for two little gifts. :thumbsup2

How's Christmas coming along in your house? Do you help out KAMommy?

I'm not done. Nope.

I *HATE* to shop. I'm one of THOSE people who avoid the malls from Nov. 15 through Jan. 1, like the plague. So, the meaning of 'help out' is that I get stuff for my own family (mom & dad, sis & bro-in-law, nephew, and bro & sis-in-law). I usually Amazon (we're all big readers). And if there's stuff just "from me" to the kids, I do that (there's nothing like that this year).

I've got KAMommy's already. So I've got 7 to buy for. I'll probably do that later this week - but since it's Amazoning I can do that in my jammies.

It sounds like you've got it all worked out to a science Goofyday. I'm liking the shopping in the jammies part. No standing in line for you either. :thumbsup2

Hi!

I mean't to get on here all weekend but life just got in the way. I did get a lot of wrapping done and Tricia, I watch Days when I wrap and I am now only 7 episodes behind. Until today's airs then I'll be back to 8. I still have to get something for my dad and my uncle. I know what I am getting for my aunt but I have to hit one store at lunch today to see if this watch is in stock for her. If it's not, I have to order it and pray it comes in time for Christmas. We celebrate with some close friends as well and there are 9 grandchildren that all get gifts. I have 4 of the girls done and the 5th girl, a 2 year old will be easy. The 5 year old boy won't be too bad but the older boys are tricky. There is a 11 year old, a 12 year old and a 17 year old. Any suggestions for gifts under $15?

Wow Susan that's so nice of you to buy gifts for all those kids. The 11 and twelve years olds are just between the ages of my girls. Mine are 10 and 15 next week. My ten year old loves purses, earrings and things from stores like Claires. The 15 year old likes Bath & Body Works and gift cards. Good luck with the gift purchases.

Hi GD. Not a bad idea, but I don't know if they would use them. I'll have to ask thier moms. When it all comes down to it, Best Buy GC's might be the best. They are past the age where they just want something to play with. It was so much easier when they were 5. :guilty:

Good morning!

I'm gonna be out and about today. Not much time to DIS for me today.

Hey Guys!

I am all kinked up today. I slept too hard. Feeling very old.

We started making Christmas sweets last night. I must have ate 1/2 pound by myself. I didn't sleep very well either, because of it. I still have a stomach-ache. I haven't eaten anything yet today.

Tonight we have a Christmas concert (my daughter's - she is a cookie in it).

I was just out on Market Square a few minutes ago. Over the past few weeks an Elvis-dude has taken the stage during lunch time on the nicer days. He's pretty good. He was singing "Hound Dog" and then went into "My Way".

Did Elvis ever do a cover of "My Way"? You can probably tell I'm not all that 'up' on my Elvis trivia knowledge.

No clue about Elvis singing "My Way." I seem to avoid most Elvis knowledge although I can respect who he was. My dad is a fan. I'll ask him.

I am sure your daughter will be an adorable cookie! I go to a pre-school program on Friday night at the school that my mom is the administrator of. I am sure the kids will be adorable as usual.

Last year during Katie's concert, first song, the kid standing a few people over from Kate started projectile heaving! It was like the pie-contest scene from "Stand By Me". They stopped the show for a few minutes. That was sad. I'm not sure if the kid was nervous or if he was sick. Whatever. So they got the sick kid out of there.

And then resumed the show. But I couldn't help myself from laughing during song #3 when the janitor came out to clean up the mess. All these kindergartners & first graders are singing & dancing, and there's janitor-guy cleaning up in the middle of them! And I've got it all on video.

I'm suprised that the whole Stand By Me thing didn't continue. I'm so sensitive to that, that I would probably get a bit queasy myself. The janitor thing is hilarious though! I'm suprised he didn't just wait!
