The restaurant is called McClintocks and it is a local place with a couple satellite restaurants in the county. It's a western themed steakhouse but I never eat the steak. I go for the onion rings. Before you even order, they bring out a big basket of onion rings and salsa. The other stuff is good too!

I'm just really busy.

It sucks.

Even now as I'm sitting here getting my dose of mental health, I'm balancing with the guilt I feel over the diswasher that needs to be loaded and the clothes that need to be washed.

I wonder if DH is feeling that same guilt as he sits in his La-Z-Boy and stares at the tube.

Good Morning Chicks. I'm getting a late start with my greetings this morning. DH was home later than usual this morning. He has meetings to go to instead of going to the office. He was actually hogging the computer. The nerve. Doesn't he know I need to tell everyone good morning first thing? Oh well, he's gone and the computer is all mine now.

Morning.

Tonight is our work party and I just realized I didn't bring the little candles that I got everyone. Not that I can't bring them tomorrow or even next week, but I wanted to get them out of my hair. We are having an exchange tonight, we drew names a couple of weeks ago. I got one of my bosses which immediately threw me into a panic with the whole wanting to kiss up kind of thing. I found something she will love though! It's a ceramic wine goblet that says "It's Wine Thirty". Very appropriate.

Dinner was yummy, but I ate way too much. This was the year of the shirts. I think I received about 8 of them between various family members. I also got a new comforter for my bed which is so squishy and soft. It was a good birthday.

I'm glad you had a good day. It does seem like gifts come in cycles. One year it will be all gift cards (which I love), another lots of candles, shirts or sweaters another year. It's all fun though. I hope you liked them all.

I love Christmas, but I really was ready to skip it this year.

Freaks me out the things we have in common. I too LOVE Christmas... and I too could skip. I have a tree up but nothing on it. At least it's pre-lit so it looks festive to the outside world.

Happy Friday to you all. Still very warm in the south. We are expecting to be in the high 70's next week. Not very Christmas like. Here's to hoping a little cool weather will come our way. Not cold mind you but cool.
