Checking on BCV - before we head to DHS or in the afternoon??

Hello All,

We are staying 2 nights at the WL then moving to the BCV on Sunday, 8/24 on points, but this just happens to be the day free dining starts. Originally we were going to check in at the BCV then go to DHS, but with the new TSM ride I would like to get to DHS by 8:30. Now I am wondering if we should go to the park and the check in later in the day.

Do you feel like you get a better room (we are in a studio) if you check in earlier in the day? How busy is check in on Sundays?

We waited in line in June for TSM for nearly 2 hours, the ride broke down and was evacuated, and we never found another time to get to it. The next time we passed it was again a 2 hour wait.

So, I would get to DHS for the ride as early as possible! For two nights, I wouldn't stress the location of a BCV studio. We've stayed in BCV's studios over 8 times and have never had a bad one. Twice we've had super rooms with very large balconies, we don't make requests, and generally check in around noon when ME gets us there.

OMG, that's horrible-after a 2 hour wait?! Rumor is that this ride has a single riders line. Does it? Or does it have FP? If so, I might consider checking in to BCV, then going to TSM. Or go to DHS, get the FP for TSM, then check in at BCV.

Yes! It has a single riders line, which is how I got to ride it one morning. Wait was only about 10-15 mins in that line. It also has FP, but it was closed the morning I went.
