Check your Ticketmaster Accounts -- You may have free tickets and discount vouchers waiting!

At least you can now select a city instead of having to look at the whole list. Still not a single show in my state, or the surrounding states though.

Looks like they released more tickets for the same shows I didn't want tickets to the first time they offered them. There should be more options for Seattle but I guess at least there's something.

Well I had a lot more success today. I ended up getting 14 free tickets. I have 6 left and will wait to see if anything else gets released. The best shows went quick and it sucks that the first show I went for is still there now. I should have picked wiser lol

I have 17 free ticket codes but I doubt I will use any of them. Most of the shows in my area are already sold out, and frankly there is nothing there that I want to see enough to warrant paying for a babysitter so my wife & I can go. This is pretty much a useless settlement and I won't be surprised if there is another class action suit because of it. I also have 17 $2.25 discount codes, which I may use a few of before they expire in 2020, but again only being allowed to use 2 per order makes them fairly worthless. Most of the tickets I buy these days are theater tickets and I just go to the box office in person to avoid paying all of TM's fees. $4.50 off of an order doesn't make a dent.

ETA: Just for fun I clicked on a couple shows that I thought might have resale value. Both are listed as having tickets available but in one case the only GA tickets still available are $125 pit tickets (not eligible for voucher, I tried) and in the other there isn't even a GA section on the map. I tried choosing 2 of the cheapest upper level tickets ($29.50) but it says they are not eligible for voucher. So I'm not even sure what tickets you're supposed to be able to get there. Definitely a sham.

There is a list of eligible shows on the same page as where your vouchers are.

They've opened some more shows for vouchers (seeing 4 in my area.)

From my experience, you can only get GA tickets which are on the lawn. And I am too old to sit on the lawn. So for me they are useless....

I used the last of my vouchers yesterday. I got 4 tickets to Luke Bryan and 2 to a old school R & B show.

My dad was unable to seat in the lawn at the local place by us but we always bought lawn tickets and then when you get to the show you go to the disabled access area and they will upgrade your tickets to the disabled boxes with folding chairs or places for wheelchairs. Maybe you can call your local place and find out if they do the same. We did this a Shoreline in Mountain View, CA

I have four vouchers, but nothing is available. This is a pretty worthless settlement, IMO. Ticketmaster should refund actual money to the people they cheated, or at least allow the credit to be used for any upcoming event purchased through their company.
Also, we have to keep "checking the site" for additional shows? How about they email us when new shows are added?? They seem to be making it difficult to redeem on purpose.

Haha, I appreciate the info and I guess I should have clarified more...I'm 35 and in perfectly healthy shape. But I'm still too "old" to sit in the lawn.

I agree except I ended up with $800 in total value in free concert tickets. You can sign up for there email notification but it only emails you when they feel like it. I signed up and got the notification about 4 hours prior to them going on site.

Thanks, I'll do that...I just wish the artists weren't so limited, hopefully it works out.

What a joke this has been... I have 10 vouchers, but there wasn't a single event in Michigan and nothing I'd consider traveling for lasted long enough for me to start making plans. The one I tried for didn't seem to have an eligible GA section and by the time I gave up on that one, the others were gone. Now there are a few Michigan events - minor indie bands in a tiny venue I can get free tickets to just about any time I want, basically tickets that no one would buy anyway - but still nothing I'd go to, even for free.

I got the maximum settlement, mostly for concerts I went to more than 10 years ago. There is very little available local to me, and nothing I'm interested in seeing now. I will probably eventually use some of the $2.25 coupons, but that's not much. The 2020 expiration date is kind of a joke, because once the current list of events sell out, they're not obligated to provide any more. It would be nice if you could use the GA value towards an upgrade, but honestly, I'm not really interested in incurring travel costs (really even gas and parking) to be compensated for having been screwed a long time ago. I've already figured out ways to entertain myself without paying Ticketmaster. I guess I feel like this settlement is too little, too late.

I wish the availability was more even from place to place. I'd love to see Weezer and Panic at the Disco, but while several stops on their tour are included the one near me and those in neighboring states aren't. Same with several other acts - if I want to go to FL or NC or NM, I could get tickets. But the stops the same tours make within 6-8 hours of me aren't eligible.

Whelp, I went online and found out I have several free sets of tickets and several vouchers, but the entire list of available shows are sold out for vouchers! Not even the option to travel to something, though I doubt I would anyway. The website is now trying to make it sound like they've gone above and beyond, but the only way I even found out about it was through this forum. o_O

I just went to the website to sign up for the email list in case more events are released and decided to read through the information on the suit. Found this bit interesting (bolding mine):

What Are The Benefits Of The Settlement?
Under the Settlement, Ticketmaster will issue approximately $386 million in Discount Codes to Class Members, which will be good for four years and will allow Class Members to receive discounts for future ticket purchases and/or receive additional discounts on future UPS ticket deliveries. If Class Members do not use at least $42 million worth of codes, Ticketmaster has agreed to make tickets for certain events available to Class Members on a first come, first served basis. Ticketmaster will make enough of the tickets available to make up for the difference between the amount of discounts that are redeemed and $42 million. You will not have to wait four years to determine if any tickets will be issued. Beginning a year after the Discount Codes are first issued, the parties will evaluate their redemption rates, and if less than $10.5 million a year in discounts have been redeemed, Ticketmaster will make tickets available. For more information regarding the Codes and several other benefits that are part of the Settlement, please review FAQs 2, 3, 5, and 7.
So, if enough people don't use those $2.25 & $5 discount codes, a year from now TM will offer more free tickets. This just keeps getting more and more ridiculous.
