Check your Ticketmaster Accounts -- You may have free tickets and discount vouchers waiting!

none in mn either that i can find... i have lots of free codes.. i guess ill just have to check all the time ;(

Nope, the closest I can find is something in Illinois. Otherwise nothing else even with a days drive.

I did really well! I had 15 discount codes & 10 free ticket codes. I got 2 sets for Rascal Flatts & Darius Rucker. 1 set for Brad Paisley and Snoop Dogg. I just went thru and clicked on all the events in my area and purchased whatever tickets I could. I was excited to get what I did! The events changed this morning to what was listed last night. I guess I will be getting on frequently to see what is available.

I have tried to get three different events and every time I get an error message. I wonder if this is due to too much traffic.

I tried to get Weezer lawn seats but they sold out while I went to check out. I did, however, get Prophets of Rage lawn seats. Not sure if there is anything else I want to see.

So yes, it appears they may actually run out of money before all these vouchers get used. So use them quick if you have them!

Also, the list today is definitely different than yesterday. There are currently NO SHOWS for my local venue, Ak-Chin Pavilion. They have added more shows for House of Blues Venues. Most of the shows are tribute bands though.

Anyone in Canada get anything? I just checked mine and I don't even seem to have a "voucher" section :( Oh well!

There is nothing within 4 hours of me listed. I'm glad I have all these tickets available.

I have several events near me that were supposedly eligible but my free vouchers did not work at all. Now they all say sold out. What a farce! They should take lessons from Barnes and Noble....had a 31 dollar credit in my account and was able to buy any book I wanted...imagine that.

It really sucks because I tried all day yesterday from 7 am to 5 pm and it would not ever work. This morning it said the round of shows for this offer are complete and to check back at another time for more shows.

UPDATE JUNE 22 11:30 PM EDT

At this time, nearly $5m worth of eligible ticket vouchers have been redeemed and the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Given the overwhelming interest, Ticketmaster is adding another $5m worth of eligible tickets so more class members can redeem ticket vouchers. Please check back tomorrow for additional information.

UPDATE JUNE 21 1:35 AM EDT

In 2003, the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class action lawsuit was filed alleging that Ticketmaster failed to fully disclose to consumers all aspects of its UPS and Order Processing Fees. While vigorously defending the lawsuit, Ticketmaster settled the case in 2013, with the court granting final approval of the settlement in February 2015.

The settlement class includes all consumers who transacted on Ticketmaster.com from 1999-2013.

As part of the settlement,

  1. Ticketmaster agreed to provide all members of the class a $2.25 credit on the future purchase of primary tickets for each transaction over the class period, for up to 17 claims.
  2. In addition, a $5 UPS voucher was made available to members of the class who had used UPS delivery during the class period, again to a maximum of 17 claims.
  3. Also Ticketmaster agreed to provide $5 million in ticket vouchers for select Live Nation concerts through May 2017, subject to availability and a cap of 17 claims per account. Given the tremendous initial interest for these tickets, Ticketmaster will increase to $10 million its allotment of tickets made available through May 2017. The potential for additional tickets will be based on the redemption rates of the discount and UPS vouchers.
This website displays the list of eligible events for which the settlement ticket vouchers may be used. Please note that the list of eligible events will be periodically updated.

Please Note

At this time, the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Please check back periodically for updates.

This may be all we see from this lawsuit.

There were some decent ones in my area listed for lawn area but they were gone before I had time to really look. The only time though I sat at the lawn at the one venue I got eaten alive by mosquitoes so I was actually looking to avoid that place.

I feel like this wasn't well thought out, or then again maybe it was to make it hard to redeem.

Well that's crap. I would have rather gotten 5 bucks cash. They didn't do it in a fair or appropriate way. Just wait for the next class action for the codes.that couldn't be used.

So five or so years ago, the hubby and I signed up for a class action lawsuit against Ticketmaster and Live Nation (which I don't even remember doing). Earlier this year the verdict was announced and just yesterday, proof of payout started!

Apparently I went to a lot of shows back in the day because I ended up with 17 PAIRS of GA concert tickets (for qualified events) along with 17 discount codes -- the maximum you can get. My other half has five pairs. Such an awesome surprise!

In your "my account" section of the page there is a vouchers link on the left side toward the bottom. You'll find the codes in there and they're good until 2020! Needless to say, we'll be saving a boat load on concert tickets.

Hopefully this helps someone!!
Wow! I got one pair of free tickets and thought that was good. I'm envious!

I obviously didn't use Ticketmaster more than maybe once back in 1998 (Shania Twain concert). I only have one discount code and one UPS credit.

I just bought a set of Toby Keith tickets and a set of Journey tickets. Seems like they added some overnight.

There are now shows listed again and the codes are working. Still pretty much nothing in Denver, but I picked up stuff for family in Tampa and West Palm. I imagine these shows will go quick. Go check!
