It's that time of year again! The major airlines have started to put through their summer schedule changes for flights this summer and fall!

This means anyone that has flights booked from July onward should contact their airline and check to see if any of the flight times have changed. If they have, make sure to note your new schedule and new flight numbers, and DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SEAT ASSIGNMENTS! Often they move seats when they change schedules.

Don't wait for the airline to contact you. Although they are supposed to for any change over 10 minutes, they "forget" sometimes!

Thanks for the heads up! DH's flight was dropped and Jet Blue put him on an earlier one. I don't think he'll be able to make that one :(

Our flight times with AirTran changed at they never notified us. I keep checking to make sure they didn't change it again LOL. Call me paranoid ;)

US Air just sent me an e-mail last week that they changed one of my flights - about three months after they actually did it. I check them every week so I knew when it changed.

WOW! THANKS so much for the info! We booked last month with Airtran for our October trip and they changed our transferring flight from a 45 minute layover to a 4 1/2 hour layover. With two kids along, this is NOT acceptable. (Plus we have MNNSHP tickets for that eve and need to get in to MCO by early afternoon, get car, check in, etc.) I phoned them tonight and they were able to change it to just a 90 minute layover. It would have been nice if they would have emailed us. Geesh!

I fly out mid Sept on SW what are the chances of there schedule being changed???? I never even thought of them changing it. I have a non-stop flight and wouldn't want to get stuck with a layover???

SWA does not change flights once published, except in extream cases. IE: Hurricanes, blizzards, and other things beyond their control.

Thanks Gail Hayden, I have amazing flight times and I really want to keep them.

Thanks again

Gail has just told you one of the perks of SWA. Once they post a schedule they STICK to it!

Makes me SO glad I have 3 r/t flights booked on SWA over the next few weeks. I know I will be there the time I am scheduled, barring bad weather or mechanical blips!!!
