Hi! First time poster going on my first DCL cruise on The Wonder 4/13. Besides DCL, I am well versed in the world of Disney Parks.

I made sure to check-in right at midnight on my 30 day mark, got an 11:00 boarding group and have watched my check-in pending for the past two weeks. The other night during my evening status check, I was prompted to check in again. Like totally start over.

I followed the directions and now I have a later boarding time. I still have my original confirmation email noting my 11:00 boarding time but now also have a new email one with the later boarding time.

Every hour on board counts and I'm kind of tiffed. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

That's terrible. I mean really, really terrible. I'd be hopping mad. Not happened to me, but we had 2 staterooms last cruise with 2 different boarding times and we had to wait for the later one which had me fuming for 15 minutes. Longest 15 minutes of my life. Except when DW was in labor. That was longer.

Did you download your port arrival form the first time? If you want to have a wait time of "545 minutes" you could call DCL to ask the CM if they can fix it. TBH, I doubt it, but you can ask

People have posted on Facebook that something like this happened to them and they were told to use the original email and come at the original time and that worked for them. You may want to email Disney just to get that in writing but should be fine. Good luck

Had this happen in Dec - was first told to use the early time but when I expressed concern they claimed they "forced" the early time onto the later check-in - I never saw any confirmation. Used the earlier email at the port and it worked fine...just one person's experience.

I think Disney‘s going through some major glitches that also involve checkin. We are 30 days out and people in our Cruise group are having issues checking in. Some Can and some cannot. There is no rhyme or reason on who can as you have non-platinum people able to check in platinum people who don’t show it active. There’s just something going on here. I don’t know how they can escalate but DCL needs to get their act together when it comes to their IT. I just hope on the agency side they’re giving them hell because I can’t see it being easier for travel agents

Go with the earlier time and plead ignorance. CMs don't like to anger people, so they would most likely just accept the earlier time. Plus, as PP mentioned, their earlier time was accepted.

Thanks all for the helpful information!!

I'm gonna play dumb and show up with my original printed boarding time. Will report back!

I added someone to our room after already doing the check in and had to go through check in again and pick a later port arrival. The agent I spoke to when adding someone to our room told me to take a print out of our original port arrival time.

This post scared me. I hadn’t originally printed our PATs, but did after reading this. I have a gty so was waiting. My pat is 10:45am and didn’t want to lose it.

Would a screenshot work? Even if I take my own paper to school our printer is NOT working more than it's working. I haven't had a printer at home for YEARS. Plus people are saying it's easier to do check-in on phones and those usually don't connect to printers.

that is what we showed in Miami when our time was out.. I believe they scanned the QR code on my phone or maybe just looked at it??

Thanks! It amazes me that places are still expecting people to print things. (Most other cruise lines give you a PDF of luggage tags and you have to print them and do arts and crafts - or spend money on holders - as one example.)

If you have an iPhone and you’re doing check in on the app, I recommend saving the port arrival form with QR code to your apple wallet. Then take a screenshot in case anything changes later so you have the original info to show at the port. Our printer is really old and we decided not to pay a ridiculous amount for more ink so I can’t print the form even if I wanted to.
