Check in procedures at airport

After I print our boarding passes and pre-pay for luggage at home, can I go to a kiosk once at PDX or do I go to the counter? What is left to do at this point? Tried checking the Continental website but ......

If you are checking luggage, you will still need to go to the counter or see a skycap to have the luggage tagged and checked in.
