Check-in opening before midnight?

Is this a thing now? Online check-in opened the other night for my cruise, and I went on the app about 5 minutes before 11pm (I'm CST), only to find check-in already open. In spite of knowing exactly what to do and having all docs & pics quickly ready, I only got group 7 and didn't get the very earliest PAT, so it must have been open for a while before. Am I missing something here? It was the correct day. TIA.

New tiers affect the 30 day check-in? I haven't been following DCL news much the past few months, so I don't know about this.

Disney Cruise Line has been slowing going back to the tiered online check in like they had before Covid.

Yes, @ArielRae has the info. 40 days for pearl and then it goes downward. 30 days is now only for new cruisers.

I think it started on May 1st. DCL was slowly updating all the check in dates by tiers, starting with the cruises that are closest to sail date I have an August cruise and my check-in date updated this past Friday to 33 days out (silver status.)
