Just to clear things up, no Disney isnt going to get sued because they drew early, no nothing is illegal in what they did. Please Please Please read the rules!! It states in the rules;
Pursuant to the schedule below, the Administrator will conduct a Daily Drawing to select the potential winner of each Daily Sweepstakes. The eligible Entries for each Daily Drawing will be limited to those Entries received during the applicable Day, since there will be no carry-over, except the eligible Entries for the Grand Sweepstakes shall also include a carry-over of all eligible Entries for all of the preceding 59 Daily Sweepstakes. Odds of winning each Daily Sweepstakes depend on the total number of eligible Entries received for the applicable Day, except the odds of winning the Grand Sweepstakes shall depend on the total number of eligible Entries received for all Daily sweepstakes except the Entries of the winners. Dates below are each "on or about."

For the 7 Daily Sweepstakes for January 1-7: 7 Daily Drawings on January 11, 2012.

For the 7 Daily Sweepstakes for January 8-14: 7 Daily Drawings on January 18, 2012.

For the 7 Daily Sweepstakes for January 15-21: 7 Daily Drawings on January 25, 2012.

For the 7 Daily Sweepstakes for January 22-28: 7 Daily Drawings on February 1, 2012.

For the 7 Daily Sweepstakes for January 29-February 4: 7 Daily Drawings on February 8, 2012.

For the 7 Daily Sweepstakes for February 5-11: 7 Daily Drawings on February 15, 2012. etc etc

Look at the important part of the above reference, I underlined and bolded it for all you conspiracy theorists...on or about...is NOT an exact date...

Also, please, some of you guys are truly acting like sore losers, demanding ppl scan their letters in for you all to see and if they dont they are liars? Craziness! At least the one poster def has recvd a winning package, from knowing who the judging agency is that is handling the contest to other details that you would ONLY know if you have won a disney contest before!! Please read the rules again, Disney is not doing something subversive, the only thing they may not be doing is calling for an address if you signed up online. Online, you had to enter an address to register, they have the info, why would they call if they dont need it! Try putting the proverbial shoe on the other foot and try to be happy for the winners. Its called karma, perhaps the niceness will come back to you!

LOL at "on or about" I didn't catch that.

...AND there is no way, if I won, that I would post any part of the paperwork. After years on sweeps websites, I've heard many stories of strangers sabotaging wins for people. :guilty:

I have a question - if my DD is currently doing an internship at WDW, does that make her an employee, which would mean that I'm not eligible?

I bet it does . . . .:confused:.

Thanks,

KC:flower3:

Thanks for posting this KATIESMOMMY.

Congratulations to all the winners so far!

I'm smelling bull chips on these "winners".

I have an account with Disney with my email address listed.

While making reservations for our big family trip in 2010, I didn't know my DB's email address so I listed mine but used his mailing address.

So now Disney has 2 very different mailing addresses associated with my one email address.

If I had won with the one time that I had entered online... which address would they have sent the FedEx to?

What about the people who have moved and haven't updated their Disney accounts?

What about the people who DON'T have an account with Disney?

Thus the blurb in the rules about potential winners being contacted via text or email for a correct current mailing address.

No, I'm not believing these FedEx stories until someone posts a picture of the affidavit.

Congratulations to those of you who have won already! How awesome!

I've been entering through text each day but went online to check my account details anyway on the Disney website. I had an old address but my correct phone and email address so I updated it just in case. Keeping my fingers crossed, there are still lots more days to win!

Hoping to see more winners from here on the Dis!

So, I was wondering if any of the potential winners entered via text message? Or do you have a better chance if you enter via the website. I cannot get the website to work on my computer but for some reason, my DH and get it to work on his, using firefox only.

I have been entering by texting, but maybe I should enter on the website if the chances of winning are better.

Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS to the DIS'ers who won!!!! :cool1:

If you signed up online, they are going to use the address that is on your account that you registered with. This isn't rocket science...really...

Exactly, there is nothing on Gods green earth that would possess me to post my actual paperwork on here until I had it confirmed and booked, as you said I have seen too many ppl call JA's and try to have ppl DQ'ed. So many sore losers in the world....

When I go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ and click on "update profile" beside "Welcome" they have all my info.

But you don't have to have an account there to enter this contest!

I do so I'm not worried about them not being able to find my address. :)

BUT if you only have an account at disney.go.com it does NOT have your address. I just checked everywhere in my account details on there and no mailing address. And there is no place to enter it that I could see.

So the only way they can connect your disney.go.com account to your disneyworld.disney.go.com account must be if you use the same e-mail address. Otherwise many people can have the same name...so how do they know?

:confused3

Ok...let me get this straight....Not only do I have to constantly check my email + phone messages for winner's notification, I also have to keep tabs on the Fed Ex man every time he enters my neighborhood? This is starting to get to be serious and is turning into a full-time job just to monitor my possible winnings LOL:rotfl:

Congrats to all the winners (if they've been notified) and please, please post us up on your experiences....don't mind the doubters + the haters:goodvibes

Best of luck to all Disers:wizard:

The letter I got said I was a potential winner - I had to sign paperwork and have it returned via Fed-ex to them by the 11th.....It was dated Jan 6th.

Wow Congratulations !!! and thanks for letting me know how they'll contact me when I win !!

Rude much? My original post had absolutely nothing to do with sore losers but rather with skepticism. HUGE difference. :rolleyes:

The one and only time that I had entered online was on 1/1/12 - a long time ago. :laughing: I thought (since I had read a lot of posts about using your email address for an entry) that you didn't HAVE to have an account with Disney. Apparently, I was wrong. I just went on the website and, yes, you need to enter via your Disney account (or create one in order to enter).

So.... for those of you entering online - make sure your account has your current address!

And for those who truly HAVE won - party: CONGRATULATIONS! party:

Looking on the Walt Disney World Resort webpage, it has my email, home address, billing address, contact numbers, etc. However, on the main Disney webpage, it only has my email address. Oh well, I guess if I win, the all powerful Disney will find me somehow.

The internet is a wonderful thing, and postings on forums are very subjective. Your "skepticism" came across very brash and I really feel for the people who have gotten winning notifications and people are calling them liars, but of course, not outright, just being "skeptical." Have a Disney Day.

Oh, and perhaps you can reread my posting, the sore loser comment was to a fellow sweeper, it was quoted as such, you were the one that made the inference my dear...

When I go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ and click on "update profile" beside "Welcome" they have all my info.

THANK YOU for that! That's what I've been looking for. If one just goes to www.disney.com and tries to update any account info, there is NO place in there to put in your phone number or anything. Seems stupid for Disney to have two different ways/places to log in and fiddle with their account.

But you don't have to have an account there to enter this contest!

It's confusing and stupid on Disney's part...just go into the Disneyworld site and update your info.

Congrats to our 3 DIS winners. Sure I am GREEN with envy (and part of me wants to not believe you too...) But I DO believe you and wish you a magical awesome trip!

BTW, for those of you (us haha) cheesed off about notification coming via FedEx or the drawings being done early compared to what they said they would do in the rules, be aware that the rules ALSO say
[8] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of these Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules, selection and announcement of the winners and distribution of the prizes;

And for those rude ones demanding proof...also be aware of the bolded below:

[11] the Sponsor has the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it suspects to be doing any of the following: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of these Sweepstakes or the Website; (b) violating the Rules; (c) violating the terms of service, privacy policy or other terms, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any Sweepstakes property or service; (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person or (e) for any other good cause as determined solely by the Sponsor;

PS...the rules also say Disney has the right to conduct a background check on you and pretty much delve into any other records of yours they want.
[22] Sponsor has the right to conduct a background check ("Check") of any and all records of the winner including without limitation, civil and criminal court records and police reports, which he/she, to the extent necessary under law, shall authorize;

Wow to a lot of posters. I kind of see where you are coming from, wanting a photo. I would love a photo too. BUT, and here's the big but - these are POTENTIAL winners. If I'm lucky enough to receive one of these, there's no way in hell I would take a picture and post it just to prove it. Disney *could* disqualify someone who does that. I would not risk it until I was a *confirmed* winner. Until then, as a *potential* winner - Disney has the right to disqualify you...

Now, when Fed Ex pulls in my driveway I will be overly excited & it will probably be just another delivery for DH's work :lmao:

:lmao: I know! I keep jumping up every time I hear a van or truck on our street. My computer is right beside the window so I can see a Fed Ex easily. The only problem is one of my neighbours across the street gets Fed Ex coming to him regularly. Talk about your false hopes! :rotfl:
