Sorry for all of y'all who have had problems entering! I have been entering online using Chrome since the first day and haven't run into a problem, luckily. I never win stuff like this, but it's nice to dream about winning a trip to Disney World. :cloud9:

Wonder what the value of the trip might be if only 2 people go? They allow for 4 but it's just DH and I. Wonder what kind of tax I'd be looking at for that trip?

Does it need to be all caps? I haven't been doing that, but I still get a confirmation text.

Not sure. A few people have had their texts rejected with lower case but had it work with caps. I guess as long as you get the confirmation that's what matters.:thumbsup2

Remember the taxes, about $2K or so for most people/

I don't think it'll be that much Dan...
they'll issue a 1099 and the value gets added to your annual income. the percentage will depend on your tax bracket...very few people are in a bracket over 33%! At least I hope that's the way it works.

i've entered with caps and non caps...they've both been accepted..received confirmation on all of them (6 times so far, because i enter for my DH too...if he wins, he gets the house to himself for 4 nights!)

I had entered via cell phone, but realized that both my cell and DH's cell's are both in HIS name, so it would count only as an entry for DH. So now I just do the entries online for us both.

I have entered each day for both me and my husband, also have my mom entering as she will take me and my daughter. I hope my husband or I would win as I think the only way I could get my husband to go is if we win it, or get it for SUPER cheap ..

My mom has already said she'll never go to Disney. :confused3

So I asked if I could enter her & dad's e-mail into the contest but, after reading the rules, there's no point. Unfortunately Disney already thought of this. No transfer of prize allowed. Shucks... :rotfl:

You may want to rethink entering with both names. My DH and I were all set to do this also since we both have our own accounts on the Disney website. Then we saw this...

LIMIT: ONE ENTRY ALLOWED PER PERSON/CELL/ADDRESS FOR EACH DAY. Click here for Official Rules.

I don't think so--see Posts #136 and #140.

So, can I enter with a text om my cell, another from DH's cell and again from my 18 year old's cell? We are all part of the same family plan.

Who's name are the individual cells in (and the numbers registered to)? On the bill does each cell number belong to a different name?

If all of your cell numbers are on one account in one persons name, they may consider that against the rules. Just to be safe, I would set up three seperate Disney accounts and enter that way.

I have to look, but I think it's only got DH's name registered. Darn, I guess that answers my question! :headache:

I hold the account for my cell plan, but we have two cell #s that I think are designated His and Mine. I wondered about this rule also. (Maybe I shouldn't have read the rules at 4 a.m. while working a night shift lol!)

I'm entering everyday alongside you guys :goodvibes

Not holding my breath as I never win anything, and now that Ive left my job to go back to school fulltime, sadly it will be a long time before I can afford to take my daughter back to Disney!!

Wow! Aren't you the lucky one! :goodvibes

yes, Disney sweeps have been good to me, I also won a 7 day Western DCL cruise in 2008.

To figure your approx tax implications, you would take the arv of the prize and add it to your income and then go from there.
