Check In Help Needed

We are driving down the day before we check in at ASMo and staying at an area hotel, plan on doing some non-disney things that day.
Anyway, since I cant check in the next day until around 3 for my room, Can I check in first thing in the Morning @ 7-8am, not to get into my room but to get my Tickets and dining plan. Then come back later in the day, or even that night and get my room assignment????


Anyone ever done this before

Yes. I do it everytime we go to WDW. Your room may or may not be ready, I have had both happen, but you do get your tickets right away. This is my first year with the dining plan, but I would assume that you would get that right away too. Have fun!!

Definitely, absolutley, posivitely, YES. All you will have to do is call back later in the day and get your room number. You will already have your room keys that won't be activated until after the room is cleared. Once that happens and you call for your room number and are given the "OK", you just go back and head right for your room. No need to stop again at the front desk. Relatively quick and painless.
