I know there MUST be a way to go to Sea World without paying face value, right? RIGHT?!! Please tell me I'm right...;) I thought it would break up or Disney week perfectly, especially since our condo supposedly is right next to Sea World (Horizons). But I didn't realize just how expensive it could be to spend a day there. Any good deals going on ? Thanks.

Join Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards program for free. You don't need to actually fly on SWA to join. Print your membership card and show it at the Sea World gate and get 20% off the price of tickets. It's the easiest and cheapest way that I know of for getting into Sea World without using some sort of corporate sponsor code.

Do you know if this is also good in San Diego at Sea World?

I found this on the Southwest website:

"Rapid Rewards Members may receive a 20% discount on a single-day admission to SeaWorld Adventure Parks in San Antonio, TX; Orlando, FL; San Diego, CA; and Busch Gardens Africa and Tampa or Adventure Island in Tampa, FL; Busch Gardens Europe or Water Country USA in Williamsburg, VA; and Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. Members must show their Rapid Rewards membership card at the park ticket window at the time of purchase in order to receive a discount (up to four admissions with each card—valid for single-day admission tickets only, not valid with any other discount, special pricing or ticket/pass product). For more information on the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks and hours of operation, visit seaworld.com, buschgardens.com, or sesameplace.com."

You can save $10 off each adult ticket if you order online at least 7 days before you go. I didn't realize it had to be 7 days, and lucked out today when I went to order as we will be there a week from tomorrow!

I see you are in NE PA. DO you go to Sesame Place in SE PA? If you buy a season pass, you get tickets to Sesame as well as Sea World for 144.95 per season...I copied the info here:

Admission to Sesame Place, Busch Gardens, Aquatica and SeaWorld with a 2008 Super Grover Passport

With a 2008 Super Grover Passport enjoy unlimited admission to Sesame Place for the 2008 season - plus unlimited admission to Busch Gardens (VA, FL), Aquatica and SeaWorld (FL, TX, CA) parks through 12/31/08. Seasonal Discounts to Discovery Cove. You’ll also get free preferred parking, preferred seating at shows, Ride Again privilege at select attractions, Meet & Greet visits with Sesame Street Friends, discounts on food and merchandise, discount admission for visiting friends and relatives and more!

If yo are going to spend any time at Sesame, this might be a good solution for you. PM me if you need info...plan for a better experiece weekdays...avoid weekends at all costs!

If you prefer to buy your tickets online in advance, you can use the code "southwestairlines" and save the 20%. It's an e-ticket, so there's no shipping charges. I know I'm the type of person who likes to have everything done in advance, so I will be ordering online.

This is great to know!
I don't have a SW card, I have an account number, but don't see anyplace to print a card from the site. Can someone tell me where to click?

Bobbi:goodvibes

Thanks - now I can get 20% off from home, huh? I will try it once I get ink for my printer. I have to take out a small-loan to buy printer ink, but hey getting these discounts makes up for it right? LOL.

BTW, my kids are too old for Sesame Place. We went once before and it was not our cup of tea...too hot, no shade, too many people! I probably had planned it wrong at the time, but seem to remember it was a weekday in the beginning of June though so I thought I would be okay - not! Thanks anyway for the info.

Last year they ran a promotion where you could buy an adults ticket for the price of a child, it was listed right on their website. I also know that there are AAA discounts and did you know that usually you can get your ticket stamped when you leave for a second visit for free? So you get 2 days for the price of one.

I didn't know that! How does that work? :)

We just went to Sea World and found out before we went that if you have a Southwest rapid rewards card you can save 20% off at that gate. That ticket will also allow you to come back a second day for free. Rapid reward membership is free. Just make sure you go to the booth just inside the gate and they will upgrade your ticket so you can have a second day free i believe within the next 14 days. AAA also sells discount tickets but i believe that the Southwest thing is cheaper. Sea World also has if you buy on the web a certain number of days in advance the price is cheaper. Hope this is helpful

Free - If you have enough Membership Rewards Points from American Express. We get to go free every year this way...and for the 5 tickets we need it saves a couple hundred dollars.

Good luck!
