What’s for Dinner Tonight?

No idea what is for dinner tonight!!! Last night I made a homemade chicken pot pie from a Costco rotisserie chicken. From that same bird I made chicken salad and a chicken soup!!! It went a long way.

I think I decided on Tuna salad.

DH picked up 2 shrimp rolls & a Pu Pu Platter on his way home from a job site.

I went to the walk in. I have strep throat and an ear infection. DH reheated leftovers for dinner. My mom dropped my off some chicken noodle soup and I had that.

Went to a Taiwanese fried chicken restaurant… got some crispy chicken with seaweed salad, egg, vegetables, miso soup and fries.

We're going out to lunch, so dinner tonight is an omelet (probably Western) and blueberry muffins

We went to Rumba (Island inspired kitchen and rum bar) in Metaire LA, just outside of NOLA. Food was great: Island inspired but with the threads of NOLA seasoning. I had the redfish, DH had a steak, my sister had crawfish and crab bucatini, and BIL had shrimp and grits. I am a spice sissy, and nothing was too "hot" but it was all incredibly flavorful. Dinner for 4, with 6 adult beverages, was about $200. I don't think that's stupidly expensive for New Orleans. Tonight... not sure yet!

so far the plan is pasta with a tomato and veggie sauce, might add in some sweet sausage links

We’re the king & queen of late lunch on the weekends. So, don’t know what’s for dinner. Although, I took out some chicken & ground beef from the freezer to continue to empty that out…so, I’ll figure something it out!

I’m feeling a little better today. I got Christmas put away but that took all my energy so DH picked up pizza for dinner. I had a white pizza with Brussel sprouts, potatoes, and bacon.

It's been a while since I have posted. We ordered pizza and breadsticks on NYE. It was just the 2 of us for that.

New Year's day I worked so I didn't make anything. Hubby went to his sisters and she made some sort of Pork, cabbage and spaetzle noodle dish. I have no idea what it was but I had the leftovers over last weekend at work for dinner and it was yummy.

Last week one day I made Ham that I put butter and brown sugar in the pan and baked it with a cheesy potato casserole dish as a side and Peas. Another day I made chicken breasts with a teriyaki sauce and a Knorr rice and pasta side thing and green beans (I had the leftovers from that last night at work)

Tonight we had mac and cheese and hot dogs and peas (I usually cut up the hot dogs and mix it in the mac but we just had actual hot dogs and bread and then the mac and cheese as a side.

My college alma mater was playing a basketball game in town this weekend. Last night, they had a meet-and-greet dinner with the current coaches and players that we got invited to, so we went to that. Today, they played the game, and they gave free tickets to all the former players. So we went to that. On the way home, we decided to stop and get some BBQ. So it was our one time to eat out this weekend.

Last night we usually go out but I started not feeling so great I knew something was coming. Ugh!! We ordered Chinese.
Today we usually have family lunch but since I’m sick and my sister wasn’t going to make it that was canceled.
Tonight DH will be at the Patriots game! Go Pats!!!
I’ll probably have soup.
