Cheap house/apartment rent?

Not sure about finding cheap apartments in Southern California. But I can recommend the Extended Stay on Clementine. We stayed there for an extended stay last year while a family member was in the hospital...and just got home last week from being there for 2 weeks to visit Disney. When we were just there they had a huge banner up that for stays of 30 days or more it was only $40 a night. The rooms have 2 double beds (I think there was also a king bed room, but we had 3 people in our party this time and 4 the time before). It has a kitchenette, which has a 2 burner stove top, a full size fridge/freezer, a sink and a decent amount of food storage space. It comes equipped with some pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware, etc. Wireless access was decent speed and cost was $4.95 per STAY not per day.

It isn't fancy, but it's not a dump or anything. Just plain, simple, clean inexpensive rooms with kitchenettes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free parking, laundry was $2 per load for wash and dry, walking distance to the Toy Story lot to get the bus to Disney.
