Goodmorning!

Just wanted to share an FYI :) As Canadiens we know we don't always get to enjoy the cheaper airfare that our US friends have the option of (SW JB etc) so when i saw these prices i was thrilled!

Air Canada and West Jet are having seat sales until tomorrow on all kinds of North American destinations! We booked our flights Montreal to MCO for 75$ each way (plus tax) it came out to 265$ per person :cool1: Way cheaper then the 575$ they originally quoted me when i reserved the cruise 3 months ago! It feels so much more real now that my flights are booked

They have all kinds of other destinations and departure cities on sale too!

Have a great day!

Melissa

Hey THAT's FANTASTIC!! Good for you! I had checked West jet prices for the Mommy and Me trip I'm taking with my youngest son next September. From Ottawa to MCO and back, it came out to $1300!!! Ridiculous! I've made the decision to drive the 3+ hours to Syracuse where I can get a flight for the two of us, return, all fees and taxes included $454.60 inclusive.
I don't understand why the Canadian FEES on flights are SO HIGH, but when you can find a fabulous deal like you did, well, thats just Awesome! :thumbsup2

You should also check Airtransat, we booked flights from Toronto to Orlando for $69 + tax each.

We also booked Airtransat for our med cruise next july to Barcelona. They were about 35% cheaper than AirCanada.

We just booked Air France out of Montreal for our Med. cruise and it was $1300 cheaper than Air Canada.
We also fly from Syracuse when heading south unless a good deal comes out.

Transat is fine if. . . . . you are shorter than 5'10". At 6'4" my knees end up in the next row. I am used to things being tight but at least with AC and WJ I have an inch or two for when the idiot in front of me drops his/her seat back.
Could barely walk getting off the plane the one time we few with them (and it will be the only time).

Last couple of trips we booked AC when it was on sale. We have flown out of Buffalo more often than Toronto but with young kids we haven't been willing to do the drive and deal with layovers (a number of direct flights out of Buffalo has dropped significantly). Next summer however we will see what the price difference is.

I fully agree about the number of flights from Buffalo have decreased. I live in Buffalo and have noticed the number of flights to not only MCO but also several other non-hub airports. Have fun on your upcoming trips!

We got WJ!!!

The $75 had just sold out, but I got $89 down and $108 home!!! Cheaper than Burlington AND non-stop! :dance3:
