About once or twice a year we drive the peninsula, just for kicks. Lots of little stops along the way, its a great trip.

My folks used to have a cabin near Port Ludlow. They jokingly called it Le Chateau, because really it was more like a fishing shack.

Frelan had this wild idea a while back about buying a little piece of land in Easter Washington, so we could go camping on it whenever we wanted. Im good.. Dont you know there are WILD BEASTIES that live in Eastern Washington????

NOT the healthiest thing in the world, but I am having trouble cooking right now. So at least he is eating SOMETHING.

Oh, I totally remember those days. I couldn't stand to even smell take-out, I had to go to another room of the house.

I ate a lot of Cheerios during that time. And you know what? DS8 loooooves Cheerios! My grandma said she craved pickled pigs feet during her first pregnancy, and my aunt apparently LOVES pickled pigs feet.
(Thank goodness I didn't take after Grandma!)

My folks sold their place a few years ago because they just didn't have the time or energy to keep it maintained. They really should have gone out at least every other weekend, but they didn't. So when the DID go, they'd spend the entire time hacking down the grass so they could mow the darn thing.

I wish we did more of the local touring like you guys do. I think DH is just so exhausted after the work week that he just wants to relax at home on the weekends. Not to mention that we usually have some kind of sports thing going on with DS8...

Ugh... I have been eating a lot of bagels. Alex asked me yesterday if the Dr. had told me to eat lots of bagels for the babies.

Frelan is really getting on my case about what I eat. I was SOOO craving some Pho soup today. So warm and yummy on my poor tummy. He didnt want to take me because they use raw beef in it. HELLO!!! GENIUS!!!! It gets cooked in the boiling hot hell broth they use. Deny me my food... I dont THINK so. Then he wouldnt let me have a spring roll... Because it has a shrimp in it.
