That was pretty much my last pregnancy in a nutshell. :(

The first pregnancy I slept a lot the first trimester, then felt pretty good until the last month. I couldn't sleep, everything hurt... I could not WAIT for DS to vacate the premises! :lmao:

I am so not having kids :faint: :scared:

The 2nd pregnancy we had several serious scares, plus my hips separated too early, so I had hip pain through the whole thing. I actually had trouble walking starting about halfway through, and wound up on bedrest the last few weeks.

It was really hard on DH, because he wound up taking care of DS and me, as well as working full time. He was sooo relieved the day DS4 was born, he was exhausted and went home and slept well that first night. :rotfl:
This is SO my fear. I get big anyways.. and with 2 babies in there?? OMG. Plus I am pretty much guaranteed bed rest, and all the other lovely stuff that is going to come with it.

I am already telling Frelan how much I love him, and how much I appreciate him. I KNOW all these brownie points I am racking up right now are going to come in handy soon. :lmao: He is going to have to work, tons of hours I know it.. Plus take care of the kids, and the house. I was telling him we might want to think about some sort of daycare for them when the time gets closer.

Hmmm, that's not a bad idea. Or better yet, a sitter that could come into the house and be a "mother's helper" sort of role. You'd be home, really you just need someone to help with the housework and keep an eye on the kids. Maybe a kid from the high school could come in after school? Frelan will be working days then, probably...?

Oh, I forget. Mikalah won't be in school or preschool. That would be hard!

Exactly.. and once I get to a certain point, I wont be able to take Alex to/from school, and I wont even be able to take Mikalah to/from preschool if she went. I dont know... one extra thing to worry about, I guess.

:rotfl: I couldn't handle it and I would be the worst mother ever. :rotfl2:
Methinks thou doth protest too much. ;)

Seriously, it is hard work. But also the most rewarding and enriching thing I've ever done. There really is nothing that compares.

Indeed... Why else would dh and I have wanted more kids?? :thumbsup2

It won't happen overnight, it will be gradual. You'll be able to drive to take/pick him up from school, and the same with Mikalah. If the kids' teachers know about the issue, often they'll do what they can to help out, like walk the child out to the car, etc.

Actually, DS4's preschool has the teacher's aide come out to take the child out of the car, and bring them to the car at pick-up; the parents just line up and keep the vehicles running, it goes very smoothly and quickly (usually anyway.) But I still walk him in in the morning, to make sure he goes potty first thing.

Oh, and you could put her in a preschool/daycare close to Frelan's work, so he could take her/pick her up. Just another idea...

We will have to see what happens. I am hoping we can find a little place to rent by Alex's school.. Just to keep things simple. I am also hoping that my Mil will be able to help out some. Scary... huh?

OMG, that was my first thought: What about her mom help... Oh right. Or her MIL? Oh right... :headache: :lmao:

Unfortunately... His work starts VERY EARLY. Earlier then most Daycares are open. Plus it is in a very industrial area, with no daycares.. I had thought of that. :lmao: It would be the simplest thing to do.

Maybe there's another SAHM at Alex's school who wouldn't mind watching them for a few weeks for some extra cash? Or maybe some college kid who can get extra credit for a childcare-related degree?

I know our local technical college has a childcare series of courses, and perhaps someone getting a psych degree or teaching degree in early childhood would be a good candidate. Or even someone just looking for extra income rather than some sort of course credit.

Are you going to order that stroller u showed us?
I am hoping to. It is a really cute stroller, adn gets great reviews. Plus, it comes with 2 infant seat hook thingys, which most DONT.
