Ahhh, good morning everyone!
I hope everyone in enjoying their weekend.
I went to bed at midnight last night, told dh that if he came to bed later than 3 he was to sleep on the couch (so not to wake me up but I also hoped would prompt him to come to bed soon).

I woke up at 5:30 am and he wasn't beside me so I got up and he was still playing his computer game! I was shocked. I went back to bed and he's sleeping now so I have no idea when he decided to go to bed, but geesh.

Today we are rearranging Morgan's room and grocery shopping for school lunch stuff. I just cannot believe they start tomorrow. Last day of SUMMER in our house!

Today we are rearranging Morgan's room and grocery shopping for school lunch stuff. I just cannot believe they start tomorrow. Last day of SUMMER in our house!

Wow - tomorrow??? I thought our Wednesday start day was pretty early - I had no idea you would beat us to school.

Fortunately I already sent John on a Costco run. Oh my, when he is unattended at Costco it is downright scary. We have 40 capri suns, 40 juice boxes, 40 chocolate milks, 100 chips, 100 cookie/cracker combos, 40 cheezits, 40 cheese and crackers, 108 pudding cups, 80 rice crispies, 60 granola bars, 42 yogos and 72 fruit snacks They are definitely good on drinks and snacks for a while

So a quick explanation is probably in order here. Not really sure why I haven't posted - I pretty much read through (maybe missing 50 pages or so when I really didn't have time to get on) Granted work has been busy, home has been crazy - we had family up for a couple of days....I dunno I have just been in a weird mood.

I HAVE TO BRAG ABOUT MY DS THOUGH!!!

As always (especially with school coming up) I really worry about him. Well, this weekend we had the "itty bitty olympics" in our town, and both kids got to compete. The age categories were 0-2, 3-4 and 5-6. We saw a couple of kids we knew were 7 competing (one related to the director) and Alecia was easily allowed to compete too. So mind you both kids were in the 5-6 group - with Alec being 5 by 10 days. HE WON A SILVER MEDAL IN BASKETBALL!!! Granted Alecia flipped out because she didn't.... - but we were so proud of Alec. He was also 4th in the tball toss (no medal). It made us both super happy to see him competitive since he was the youngest kid there!!!

Wow! That's a quick summer break! My little sister starts schol at the end of this month.

My bf and I just saw the new mummy movie. I thought it was odd that the boy who played the son looked almost the same age as Brendan Frasier. We are eating lunch at Red Lobster. One girl at the table next to us stared so hard at my Juicy purse my bf said it looked like her head was going to fall off!

awwwww, I got an email to check out fares to SNA.. played with dates (limited choices) and found one for $178 with tax round trip .. of course I can't buy it right now, non refundable and I kinda want to hang onto cashola until hubby (and me) secure a job.


This royally sucks, typical air fare to LAX is about $300... no way would I even consider SNA (easily $400)

WOW. That is a good deal. I am finding it harder and harder to find good deals on flights from here. It cost me $218. for our tickets to Ontario from here. Which is high... I used to be able to get them for less. I am already worrying about our November, the prices are really high then. Its $150 each WAY. I hope there is a sale soon..

DH says the Law of the Serengeti applies to all snacks purchased at Costco. He thinks Dizzy's husband has purchased only 20 school days worth of snacks. Why you ask?? Because each child will need 1 of each thing in their lunch, plus they will then want them after school, then because each child has a snack, then the other child will want to have more than the first child. Hence they will eat at least 3 per day of the snacks. But they will also try to sneak a few of them, plus add weekends to the equation, so those snacks will only last 1 month.

We've been rather cool the last few days, but we're supposed to be heating up tomorrow and later this week.

Not much going on at the moment, spent all of yesterday shampooing the carpets, took DD to town to finish her school clothes shopping today.
