how is your nephew taking it?

Oh he's fine. I believe he's been through a few hurricanes and storms there before. My sister said he is a bit annoyed because there is no electricity and hence no computer, no dvd players, too wet & windy to play outside. She had 3 portable dvd players that she kept charging up at her friends house, but they don't last very long. That is part of the reason they headed over to her son's in Tampa. He was happy that he only had 1 day of school, then several days off. But then again what kid wouldn't be?!:thumbsup2 :lmao:

Well I have a busy afternoon working on financial statements, so back to work I go. Have a great afternoon Gina, Megan, Alex and everyone else!:) :) :)

well thats good that she has a place to go...she can make an adventure out of it for him or something...with my nephew to keep him calm on road trips we made treasure maps and he loved it...

Quick post- I checked online and my Wii Fit was delivered!! :dance3: :yay: I can't wait to try it when I get home. :cheer2: :woohoo:

Okay I just have to tell you all what I'm making for dinner because it smells amazing. I'm making honey mustard chicken, with potatoes baking in the oven with carrots, onions and spices. I'm baking some broccoli and califlower with chili powder, olive oil, garlic, pepper, a curry powder (just cuz it's good for you) and then I'm going to sprinkle some parmeasan cheese over my broccoli and VIOLA! It smells so good. If only I had chocolate cake.
Okay now i am so hungry, RECIPE PLEASE

I have a cake mix, you have a food that sounds soooooooooo good!!!so I say we share:)

I have heard wonderful things about Italy and I am so excited that I FINALLY GOT HIM TO AGREE!!!!It will only be for a week but I can live with that...

When we go to Hawaii we will spend 2 days a Oahu and then the rest of the time we will go to Maui...(I don't want to land or take a chance of a plane being late and pop back on a plane as soon as my feet are on the ground so we will spend a day and half each way in Oahu...A pilot friend of ours said he will pick up some local information on the place next month on his vacation...
I want to go to italy, Volterra to be exact:laughing:
Lucky i would love to be back in Oahu, I lived there for almost 2yrs when i was 1st married ....

So what do you suppose MIL would had said if you informed her you got pregnant with the twins BEFORE the miscarriage? Sometimes people ask the stupidest questions! Here's Your Sign!!

Sorry I disappeared on you Alex! My computer froze up, had to turn it off and back on, then it was taking forever to get on the internet. So I gave up and went and had lunch.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: sorry when i read this i spit DWCpepsi on the screen Can people really be that silly?

I have had sick kids today SO NOT FUN!!!

Spongie, it's never dull at your house, is it? ;)

We loafed around this morning, then after lunch DS4 had a quick nap before swim classes. We dashed home from swim class so I could figure out something to do with the chicken in the fridge (since it's raining and DH isn't going to want to grill.)

I found a recipe for Chicken and Broccoli bake in a Betty Crocker cookbook, so we'll see how that turns out. It's got another half hour to go, hopefully enough time for DH to get home. He just called and said he was just now leaving the office, GEESH!

aww, that's cute!

I like shopping for different types of paper and stickers. Jolee's are really cute but a little expensive. :scared: It's cool when they are on sale at Michael's though :)

oh yeah, I forget to tell you and Alex.. Target started marking down the scrapbooking items. They do this about twice a year- resetting with new product. I believe it was 30% off when I looked.. by now should be 50% off but really it depends on your location.. some stores are slower than others for the resets.

MN in general is one of the first areas to have clearance-- makes sense as it where corporate is located. :goodvibes

BAKE .. are you kidding??

It's hitting 90 here!

I hate to turn on the oven in the summer, just makes the apt hot and the AC has to work harder.

Besides, it will be even warmer in the back bedroom where hubby is dialyzing .. among the four fans pointed at him

I usually hang with him.. but today.. I run back and check on him every few minutes and want to play on computer.

Unfortunately we have locked ourselves out of the wireless. Oh well, at least it's nicely locked away from intruders.. :rolleyes1

I did happen to stroll through that aisle on Monday. A few things were marked down, but not much. And only one item I wanted, a cute little flower punch was only $1.50 instead of $4. :thumbsup2

Yeah, our oven doesn't usually get used in August, except for baking birthday cakes/cupcakes. HOWEVER...

1. We don't have AC, so no worries there.
2. It's currently 63F, cold and rainy. Woo freakin' hoo. :surfweb:

DH just got home, and I better go check dinner in the oven. Might be another "interesting" dinner, since I didn't have all the ingredients the recipe called for... :rotfl:

Hasta luego!

When is the Forks trip, soon? Not that it will make much difference in the weather, mind you. ;)

Forks is in an ickier part of the state, so I would be willing to bet you will need them. :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: I just looked at the Forks website, and there is a whole section on Twilight. :rotfl2: That kills me. They have a good pizza place there to. ;)

I think we may be eating there one day ...

I have no idea what it is called, but we always hit the Pizza place when we cruise through town. Top Notch! We also like heading out to the worlds largest Spruce tree... but that might be just us. We saw a little black bear out there once. VERY COOL!!
