WEIRD!! I just got sucked into this thread about one of the human body exhibitions.. They have a disclaimer on their website stating that the bodies COULD be from Chinese prisons, but they dont know.. They MIGHT have died in the prisons.. But they dont know. I had never heard of that!

hmm, interesting that they felt the need to post a sign in the first place..

There is a store in Berkey, CA that sells skulls, human bones etc.. Myth Busters staff use it as a resource, whihc is how I found out about it. Anyway, it's getting harder to get permission for bodies to be used for education/bones.. Not as many in US allow it to be done, India WAS a major supplier.. but they ran into people (lower caste, street people) being killed off to sell the bones (sad sad sad) now laws have been changed and exporation of bone from India is very strict.

Well their newest supplies are from China, many of the skulls have shot wounds in the head.
Ther was a Dateline special where some rich guy went ot China and got a kidney transplant, paying a lot of money... turns out he got his organ fomr a Chinese prisoner.. they have an ambulance on stand by at the execution to harvest organs quickly.

sorry for the gruesome talk.. very intriguing and opens up all sorts of ethical discussions for those who need transplants.

Nothing.. Just went swimming today. And the gas station. That was fun. I almost fell over dead when I pulled in and saw that gas was down to $4.09. We payed $4.25 last Friday!

Exactly! She was in her room drawing on her leg. At east it wasnt the wall this time. Hopefully she got the hint after they spent an entire DAY trying to clean it off.

I had to laugh at hubby's expense today.. He forgot to clamp his access line when he went to switch off formthe machien tubing... I swear he was trying to practice some gruesome scene to use for Halloween or some special effects for a movie

He figured it out quickly and clamped it off... but the dmage was already done, spraying his machine manuals (that we use to troubleshoot alarms), the floor (nice, getting blood out of carpet is soooooo much NOT fun) , his foot, and some of the tubing.

I cleaned it all up.. laughing my head off at hubby.. later noticed.... he got me too- darn ! Too late now I don't think that will come out

GEESH, I can't believe it's nearly August already! We didn't even really start our summer until July!

Hello Hyenas,

I just watched Journey to the center of the earth in 3D. It was awesome.

My bf and I didn't eat lunch so we are having a late lunch/dinner at Jerri's Famous Deli.

There is a guy sitting across the room that laughs like a freakin goat! I kid u not and it is annoying as hell! Imagine how loud he must be up close! Some other customers around us keep throwing him dirty looks because all u hear is his voice and goat laughter.

I'm glad we are back in MN, at least the boys have one more full month before school starts again. Staring mid August was hard- cutting summer far too short.
