We saw a cute 18mo at gymnastics on Thursday, and he played a bit with him. They had so much fun chasing each other! Then he says to me, "I like dat baby, Mama." I said "Yeah, I like that baby, too. You used to be like that baby, but now you're such a big boy! See how much bigger you are than the baby?" He laughed and said yes.

Then he said, "Mama, I wish we had a baby." And I said, "Honey, I do too. But we don't."

I didn't say anything, but it made me a little sad to see her growing up! Just like seeing DS4 growing up makes me a little sad. I think he sees that it makes me a little sad and maybe that's why he doesn't want to grow up, you know? :confused3

Awww!! How cute! Mikalah LOVES babies! At the airshow, someone with a baby walked by us, and Mikalah jumped up... I LOVE that baby!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: We were rolling!

 Thats probably why. It makes us sad.. It makes Frelan REALLY sad.. But it also makes me so happy to see what cool little people they are becoming, you know?

This is going to sound STUPID.. But Frelan has been playing this XBOX game with Alex in the mornings while Mikalah and I sleep in... I got up early this morning and watched him play. It was amazing to see how good has gotten! I was oddly proud of him.. Watching him shoot all those bad guys. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: But he was totally keeping up with his dad!

I know what you mean, DS7 is pretty good, too, or so DH says. (Like I could tell!) :rotfl:

DS4 used to be terrible, but now he's getting pretty good, too. DS7 has been showing him how to play the games, and a year ago he either wouldn't listen or just couldn't grasp it, so DS4 would just do whatever he wanted (and die a thousand times.) But anyway, now he actually plays with some sort of goal in mind.

WEIRD!! I just got sucked into this thread about one of the human body exhibitions.. They have a disclaimer on their website stating that the bodies COULD be from Chinese prisons, but they dont know.. They MIGHT have died in the prisons.. But they dont know. I had never heard of that!

Where is that?! I didn't see that one! :scared:

Dang. I unplugged the laptop for less than 5 minutes and it DIED! Dang battery. High time to push DH to get it replaced! :sad2:

Yes, it's the same one. I've just been using the laptop plugged in, because the battery life is so short. The battery life a year or two ago was only like half an hour, so I couldn't use the battery. Well, tonight I just moved it and in less than 5 minutes unplugged the battery died.

Yuck! The forecast is showing rain off and on this week, starting tomorrow. :(

I guess I'd better get to bed. It works out much better for me if I do that before I get so drowsy I fall asleep at the laptop... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Good night, girlie! :cloud9:

Nice. :thumbsup2 Sounds like its time to get a new battery. I can so hear you sighing.. Yes.. Its the same one. :lmao: Sorry.. Makes me giggle.

Me? Nyquil??? :confused3

Now if you could ship some for these two non-drowsy boys, I'd be forever grateful... :rolleyes1

So perhaps you could send them down to my house today. I have a reputation for putting everyone to work and by 8pm they will be so exhausted they will literally fall into bed.:thumbsup2

I KNOW. She has been at it all day. MOMMY.... WAH WAH WAH. So she has spent a large chunk of the day crying in her room.. because I dont want to hear it. It gets old FAST for me. Thankfully we are now watching.. guess? Oh thats RIGHT. Care Bears. AGAIN.:lmao:

Oh but it gets better as the years go by. You will so appreciate the PMS of a 12yo, it's like nothing you've ever experienced before. :lmao:

Woke up at 4:30 this morning, but that's no surprise, DH usually gets up at that time. Went back to sleep, woke up at 6am, that's when I usually get up during the week. Went back to sleep, got woke up at 7am by my sister calling and singing Happy Birthday.

Just ate my bowl of oatmeal and drank some coffee. Now I'm contemplating what to do today??:confused3

I'm a little sore, but not bad. So should I start shampooing the floor?? Or should I go to town and get my grocery shopping done?? Although I know if I go to town I will probably end up doing more shopping for me and that will take all day. What to do...what to do??

DH and the kids stopped by last night and gave me my birthday present. I got a gift certificate to a day spa...along with a note saying that DD & I could go get pedicures from DD. DH gave me a cute card, along with money to go buy myself a new outfit. DS gave me a card with money and a note telling me to take myself & DD out for brunch when we get our pedicures. (You don't think DD told him to write that do you??):lmao: I love how she managed to insert herself into my birthday presents.:rotfl2:

Good morning, hyenas!
It's been raining this morning, but has stopped, at least for the moment. :umbrella:

Nothin' much planned for today. Cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping. Maybe a Costco run for fun. ;)

And a BIG Happy Birthday to Sam! party: :cake: :bday:
Hope your day is fantastic!

And yes, your DD is quite clever at benefitting from your birthday. :lmao:

Wow... page 4!!! I took the kids swimming today. They made me SO proud!! MIkalah swam by herself from wall to wall... She hasnt done that before! It was great! Then Alex did it.. Then they were both just paddling around the pool like a couple of fish! It was great fun.

Then we came home and Mikalah and I both passed out on the couch. :lmao:

HAPPPY BIRTHDAY ALISON>>>>>I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PEACE AND QUIET FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY.....

and uh 12 year old PMS is ...well I will get kicked off if I say it...but it SUCKS.
I havent had pms for years and it sometimes is hard for me to remember so I don't deal with it well..

I am so fired up at this moment with DH that if I could rip his head off and roll it under a semi it still would not satisfy me..(I think I need help:rotfl: )

I ask one simple thing of him...just one...weeks ago I ask him to make sure he did it...did he do it....NO,NO,NO,NO,NO....after being reminded a dozen times...

I think this weekend I will celebrate my 40th by myself on a little trip...Ladies, the windy city is calling my name.....

Hope everyone else has had a better evening...

Good evening!

Dinner has been gobbled, boys showered (phew!) and just a little bit of TV time before they get booted off to bed. :thumbsup2

I watched The Other Boleyn Girl movie today. I'm not sure how much of it was true, but it was kind of interesting. I thought the story line moved along too fast, though it was well-acted.
