I just can't believe that she is having to go through all of this. I'm just hoping that I can keep her busy this weekend so she doesn't have a lot of time to ponder things. I can tell when she sits and starts thinking she's really stressed out. Honestly I think she aged about 20 years this week. We just have to keep her busy, otherwise she starts getting that worried look on her face and then starts crying.

Even though I'm not the sort of person that believes in just sueing people for anything. I told her that I think she should sue her and the Works Unlimited company that had the contract with her and the state to provide care.

Her attorney did tell her that he had to address that in the request for dismissal. Apparently you have to state if you intend to countersue or you can ask the judge to decide if it's appropriate. Her attorney said they will ask a judge to decide. She doesn't have to countersue, but if a judge says she can, then she can sometime in the future. If the judge says no, then she can't. My sister is ok either way, she just want's her son back.

Oh and the Oregon State Dept. of Disabilities called her and told her they are now re-doing all of their Proctor Parent contracts because of this. They apologized immensely to her once again. They are going to add a clause that Proctor Parents must sign saying they won't seek custody. Instead the State woud have to sue for custody, then decide to give the child to proctor parents. They are also going to ask the legislature to consider a new law regarding this when they get back in session this fall.

You know this is probably going to sound a bit wacky, but then again I guess I am a bit wacky. But I truly believe that my mother is an angel and that she is helping guide out lives. Every since she passed away I've had strange things like that happen, things that are a billion to one odds. Things I've done for no apparent reason, but then a huge reason makes itself clear.

I was telling you guys once about whenever I hear the chimes on my back porch ringing, it's my mother. The wind has to blow just the right way here for it to reach my chimes and it doesn't happen very often. But my sister was sitting on the back deck smoking (yes, she quit years ago, but started up this week again). Anyway, the wind started blowing from the NW and coming right down into our yard from the hill, the chime my sister was sitting under was ringing like crazy and then all the rest started. I knew my mother was there and was trying to tell us it would be ok. I'm still nervous about all of this, but a part of me is very calm inside because I know she's helping us.

Ok I have to post this video. This is my good friends son. Our kids are great friiends and they live on the street behind us. These are the kids we walk to school with in the morning that I said I have to control the crazy boys when we walk each day! Ethan is the boy and his dad built this Lemonade stand. Ok so my kids have been begging to do a lemonade stand and then all of the sudden Angie, the mom, calls me and says we need to come over to buy lemonade from Ethan. So we all walk around the block and here is this very awesome lemonade stand.

He has a surf theme, a plexiglass counter, an umbrella that lights up with LED lights so he can have it out at night, a little hawaiian t-shirt type lantern for night, lemonade is in a cooler usually with a thermometer telling the temp outside (usually over 110 degrees) and the temp in the cooler that the lemonade is (about 42 degrees) I mean this thing has it all. Its sweet!

So we look at his dad, Brandon, and say ummmm there is no way in you know what we can ever have a lemonade stand this cool. The kids were begging to make one just like his. I'm like, ummm we were just gonna take some old boxes and set up and write on construction paper! I told them we would have a contest to see if we get the pity business.

Well, this thing has snowballed and they entered it into INC.com for best lemonade stand in America. He won last week for best lemonade stand of the week and INC.com sent out a press release. The news stations got ahold of this and he's been on every channel and newspaper in the past 2 days. Its so awesome. Anyway, this is the funniest video that they have had shot of them. The others were more serious but this was the last station out today and Ethan was hamming it up for the camera. We were watching them film it and it was so funny. Jake and Morgan want me to mention that they had written their names on the sidewalk in chalk so they "got on tv" too!

Let's see...my DH wants to drive over to her house with gun in hand, her DH says just grab the kid and bring him home. I can tell she's close to just falling apart, so I'm just keeping her busy and trying to get her to focus on the legal system. She's calling friends for reference letters, talking to attorneys, doing my work , etc....I'm going to make her help clean my house tomorrow. I think if she didn't have the attorney's and state disability office telling her that she has such a strong case, then she would have probably had a nervous breakdown by now.

Let's see...my DH wants to drive over to her house with gun in hand, her DH says just grab the kid and bring him home. I can tell she's close to just falling apart, so I'm just keeping her busy and trying to get her to focus on the legal system. She's calling friends for reference letters, talking to attorneys, doing my work , etc....I'm going to make her help clean my house tomorrow. Today we had solo practice for Morgan. Then she had a friend over and now they are all watching POTC Curse of the Black Pearl. I"m not in the mood for it so I'm in here chillin'

Morgan likes this one best because Elizabeth is mostly in pretty dresses in the movie!
