I keep thinking of that Russell Peters video where he says: "Confucious say: You go to jail bad boy!" :lmao: :rotfl2:

Is it too early for a margarita??? :hyper:

<----Dizzy...30 minutes from now. :lmao:

So he has a probation officer you can talk to now? I'd talk with him/her about the DL trip, and also about getting (what?) transferred to closer to home. Get what info you can beforehand, you know?

I will have to talk to DH/DN, the whole thing confuses me. He is being assigned a probation officer on the 8th, and has to go back to the valley. I am not sure if that one is permanent, and the local person up here reports to him, or if it all gets 100% transferred up here - I am just not sure :confused3 . I won't be too disappointed though, in this business you can't make plans too far in advance - I have a room booked, but either way I am not attached :confused3

Well... that was FUN. I have to get the boy off the swimming lessons now.

What's a nolga? Is that the same as a fipple? :confused3

Nolgas are spanish slang for butt cheeks.

I might be spelling it wrong, pronounced naul-gahs

Isn't it interesting that men fear their mortality at a much younger age than women? Hubby too-- he keeps saying that men in his family don't live past x age, at that point I whack him up side the head and remind him that

1. he is not an alcoholic
2. he has decent health care
3. he doesn't live in the barrio and beat his wife everyday

Yes he does have the kidney crap to deal with.. but I think the stress of living the way his family does (the family he does not see) plays a big part in length of life.

Anyway, lots of men go thru this stage-- some earlier than others
Boost the self esteem --- alternating with whacks upside the head-- should do the trick :thumbsup2

The boys are watching a PBS cartoon called Word Girl. It's about a girl who is secretly a super hero called (what else) Word Girl. It's very funny, even for adults, as she goes around saving the planet from evil doers and correcting their grammar. :rotfl2:

I had no idea this is what they all go through! Your DH and mine I can understand they have life-threatening issues to deal with on a daily basis. But my dad led a fairly healthy life, and Dizzy's DH I presume also does (and he's so young!) so WHY them???

I'm going to ask my GFs if their DHs are also going through this. They're all in their late 30s - early40s... This is the prime time period for a mid-life crisis, isn't it?

I have to say, your TLC methodology cracked me up! {Hugs} {THWACK!} :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
