Chat vs. Phone...Who will Answer First??

I have a simple question and I have been on hold with MS for 29 minutes so far. The chat option finally popped up and now I am number 2 in the queue...

Who will answer first????

I was on hold over 35 minutes before hanging up. I didn't want to hang up until I was sure that chat could answer my simple question.

All I needed to know was how many points I had transferred in to my account! Such a stupid thing, but I had transferred BWV points in for a reservation, which we made at 11 months. We plan to move to AKV at 7 months which requires a few additional points and I could not remember how many extra points we had added to the transfer.
 
I called last night and it said my wait was 16 minutes and after 16 minutes they picked up! Was surprised. I never call, but needed to renew my APs. I also put a request for a multiple reservation merge. Didn’t take very long.
 

I've chatted several times in the last week and each time the wait time was less than 15 minutes.
 
I tried calling this afternoon and the voice mail said they were busy and to call back later, then hung up. No option to wait.
 
Chat is always faster for me. However, the wait time is usually longer than it says. Not crazy, but it is longer.
