:earsgirl: I read somewhere about an extra charge for a character tuck-in. Is that really a possibility on the ship?

Or could we possibly arrange for a character wake-up? :sunny:

My youngest DD will turn 5 the first morning on our cruise, so I want to make sure that there won't be any possible "extra" that I find out about too late!

Thanks!!

This question was discussed a while back. There are no individual "tuck-ins" or wake ups. According to the thread that I read, when it was the Big Red Boat in conjunction with Disney, there were some individual things, and someone said that the Warner Bros characters had tried this on other lines. But, it's not available on the Magic/Wonder.

The Oceaneers Club kids can have a Goofy Slumber Party according to the cruise video. Maybe if you mention it to the CMs, they can have something special with Goofy that night??

beschultz-

They do not have a character wake up or tuck in. But you can order a wake up call from Mickey. We did that one morning and our DD 7 couldn't figure out who was calling at 7:00 in the morning and why SHE had to answer the phone. All her questions were answered as soon as she picked up the receiver.

Thank you so much for the info. I will keep those ideas in mind as the time gets closer.:D

Great idea on the wake up call. I have to remember to do it. Can't wait to see my kids' reactions.

Thanks,

Is the wake up call similar to the call you can recieve at the WDW resorts?

Yes, similar to wakeup calls in the WDW Resort Hotels. :) Prerecorded messages...
