Which character dinner would you choose if you had 4 boys (12,12,11, and 8)? I'm thinking Chef Mickey's, any imput?

My boys like Donald's breakfast at the AK, but then finding Donald was a priority. :)

Yes, Chef Mickeys or Mickeys Backyard BBQ. There is also A character meal with Stitch if they like those characters at the Poly. Have fun... Maybe one day Disney will host a character meal geared more towards boys (so many princess themed ones).

I have an 8 y.o. boy & we're going to Chef Mickey's next time. We did Liberty Tree Tavern last trip, and he loved it. However, LTT no longer has a character dinner. I asked him what kind of characters he wanted to see and he replied "anyone but Pooh or Princesses".

Ditto
Every kid is different but my son wasn't all that into Chef Mickeys- I think he liked the characters better at Donald's breakfast- but then they act more "silly" and get him in his silly mood first thing in the morning. LOL
Probably depends on age too. but since I'm talking about him around the same ages you mentioned your boys are- they'd probably like Donald's breakfast too.

Not character but LOADS of fun, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, not to be missed with kids!

Chef Mickeys has the classic characters, but the interaction is not that great, as the place is mobbed. Too bad LTT doesn't have their character meal, because that is a fun place w/kids and the turkey meal is usually stuff boys like to eat and the interaction is good. I'd go for Chef Mickeys but do breakfast!

I would add Liberty Tree to the list, but alas, WDW (in their infinite wisdom) did away with characters at this venue.

Would have to say: Tusker House, Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's.

I would vote for Ohana at the poly :thumbsup2

Another vote for Ohana's breakfast. We did 5 different character meals on our January trip, and this one was by far the favourite. Excellent food, superb atmopshere, and the character interaction was the best we experienced anywhere. It was a blast!

Crystal Palace was our winner for dinner. Again, the atmosphere is lovely, the characters were great, yummy buffet, and so convenient to dine right in the park!! :woohoo:

We also did Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fare for dinner, and Donald's Safari Breakfast at AK. We have high praise for them all.
