Character dining question

The meals that have you pose with a character before you sit down (Tusker House with Donald and CRT with Cinderella for instance), do those characters also come around the room afterward? If not, will they sign an autograph while you take the photo? And can you also use your own camera to take a photo?

At Tusker House last year...I don't think Donald was in the picture with us upon entering the restaurant. I think it's just a photo of your family group.

About CRT...yes, Cinderella did sign my kid's autograph books, & signed a cookbook for me as well. Yes, you can take a pic with your own camera. No, I don't believe she circulated the dining room as well.

I'm not sure about Tusker House or CRT but on our last trip, at Akershus Belle signed my kids books and we took plenty of our own pictures!

At CRT Cinderella signed and at Akershus Belle signed, but at Tusker House Donald did NOT sign. My girls had already met him earlier in the week so they didn't even have their books out, but his CM still specifically said, "Donald's not signing autographs; we're just doing Magical Moments photos!"

None of the greeting/photo characters came around during the meals. We were allowed to take our own photos.

We go to the Tusker House every year and have breakfast with Donald. He is in the photo before you are taken in and you are welcome to take your own photos too. During the meal, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Daisy came to our table for additional photos, autographs, and dancing during celebration time!

At the Akershus breakfast, it went the same way. Belle before the you are seated and then during the meal we were greeted by: Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, etc.
