Character dining..please help!

I'll be visiting Universal in November and will be staying on universal property (HRH). I've read threads about character dining in I.O.A and at the hotels...but all seem to be reports from last year.

Has anybody got any more recent information on character dining at Universal?
Im interested in where they take place and what the menus are.
Any other information would be great too! I also read that character dining wasnt happening at HRH...is this still true?

firstimers to WDW/UNIVERSAL even to the US!! so need all the help we can get from those in the know!!
7 year old loves scooby or spiderman can we eat with them?
best place in the parks tom spot them?
Any help welcome to make the trip memorable for a 7 year old

The character dinner at universal is pretty diffrent we did it in march this year at the the tratoria del porto at PBH twe all had the buffet which was $12.50 per child and $25 per adult but u could have ordered off the main menu as well characters where scooby & woody but the reason I say they are diff is because u could be just having a norm dinner and charcters are due in that night so u have a character dinner this happened to us at RPR on a monday night which buffet was priced diff as kids was $3.99 but the buffet at the PBH is pretty impressive
